Micah highly recommends the life of a husboar
It started with the knowledge that Boris is satin and therefore may (hopefully not) be life limited. Getting George neutered while he's young would give loads more options if Boris does pass too young. But honestly I love the idea of being able to have more than 2 piggies and the idea of both having a wife or 2 really appeals. Not so sure with Boris but I feel like the ladies would love chilled, gentle and affectionate George. On the flip side, right now they are free roaming and obviously that would have to stop, although honestly I think we like it more than they do and I don't think they'd miss it.
I'm not sure how he would cope with getting pee sprayed on him though!Micah highly recommends the life of a husboar
Duh! I meant George...I'm not sure how he would cope with getting pee sprayed on him though!
Don't forget Miss Bramble wants to keep herself "nice".Are you sure it's not because the boys would be able to visit the gorgeous Miss Bramble then?
Oh Bryce has discovered that a loooooong time ago! He pulls the food bowls by stretching his neck from inside his wooden house or whenever he is lying down. Saves him standing up and walking to them. And when he wants something else while he is under the rattan chair, he would chew the chair until I stand up, put the pellet bowl/any other food he wants in front of him so that he would stop chewing as a bargaining method! I'm such a slave. He trained me so well. The early discovery of being able to reach the hanging treat from the hammock led to George maneuvering the pellet bowl closer.
Now he's staring at the water bottle.....(from the hammock)
If he manages to get me to move it....job done.
He will never have to get out of the hammock again!
(Except to potty)
I swear he's been in there all day!
Our two missed that memo too. Both sleepyheads a lot of the time.George when I went out and George when I got home. I read somewhere that guinea pigs can be active up to 22 hours a day. Don't think he got the memo!
The time to partaaaaay is at night time when the Hooms are asleep! No time for partying!
Don't I know it; I hear mine (though I'm 99.99% sure it is solely Minerva) thundering around, slamming into the sides of the cage and jumping on and off things at 3:00am. >__>The time to partaaaaay is at night time when the Hooms are asleep!
My 2 monsters are too lazy to even do that. Just turning off the light makes them sleep in their loft. The time to partaaaaay is at night time when the Hooms are asleep!
No, definitely not even then. Occasionally I like to sleep on the sofa bed as my back likes it. They don't even like it if I get up too early. Morning boys, would you like some hay?.... response...meh... sleeping...The time to partaaaaay is at night time when the Hooms are asleep!
Become my lazy two. Mind you Bryce is only 2.5 y.o. and Whitney is just 1.5 y.o.They are only youngsters, what are they going to be like when they get old?
Become Divas and have you dancing to their tune! They are only youngsters, what are they going to be like when they get old?
Mine are going to be banging their zimmer frames against the wall of the cage at 3:00am... >__>They are only youngsters, what are they going to be like when they get old?
But if he never leaves it now, he won't want to when he's elderly so I propose that instead of getting a hoist, you continue to push his food and water bottle right in front of his mouth, where he'd like them to be right now and then just lift his bottom every 20 minutes to take away the poops.I'll need to get a teeny tiny hoist to get George into the hammock.......
You could always put a poop bowl out.I wonder if they sell a commode version of the hammock? Guess where he is right now....View attachment 238013
