Hi everyone, when I got my hay topped off I did a little dance! I popcorned in a circle all around the hay. My poop looked good, so I got benebac on some pepper, some parsley, and a slice of cucumber. Tomorrow I get a little romaine!

Chez has a leak in his bottle and mom can't change the fleece cause she leaves for work soon, so she put a pee pad.

Tomorrow we get our cages cleaned and I get lap time!

Hi everyone, now that I'm feeling better, I'm a brat. I used to go right into my snuggle sack for cage cleaning but now I go in the corner and refuse to get in, even if I'm nudged. Also, I used to sit nice for a petting at lap time, now if I don't have a cookie I try to escape. I guess I just feel so good I can't be bothered to be my sweet former self. Mom says I'm a brat. But she forgives me!

Currently under a pile of hay in a clean cage!

Hi everyone, I'm eating my coriander and I had some lettuce. I'm scurrying around this morning because it's dawn, I just love dawn. Me and Chez did some pretty heavy duty popcorning when we had our cages spot cleaned. I licked my benebac off the pepper and left the pepper. My poop is normal again so pretty soon I'll get benebac as needed.

Mom's part of the house is a disaster so she's going to clean tomorrow.

Today mom has another day shift so we'll really miss her. She'll be back at dusk, we also love dusk.

Mom's going to listen to the news on the way to work! Yucky Trump!

Well, I added too much veg the past two days, Stripe's poo was soft again. We're starting over. Benebac and just pepper.

I missed the break of dawn when they popcorn the most, but they did a little while spot cleaning. Stripe used to be scared of spot cleaning, now he stands on the scooper.

No errands today, just homework and cleaning.

Spooked the boys when I came into the room. Stripe did that little purring noise and both boys ran for cover. Now they're both out munching hay.

Chez zoomed during spot clean, never been sure why he likes it so much.

Hi boys and girls! It's dawn and we're doing lots of popcorning and chutting. I just had my benebac. It's a cage cleaning day and I get a yucky health check. Chez gets to skip his because he's going to the vet tomorrow and she'll look him over. He'll get eye drops!

Mom's going to wait till we calm down to clean cages because we're having so much fun.
 
It's dawn again, Stripe is making little wheeking sounds and occasionally popcorning. He went to town on the popcorning at dusk last night! Nonstop popcorning.

Chez has his eye checked at 11.

Ope! There goes Stripe with the popcorning and zooming, it looks like he's having a seizure

Now Chez is zooming in counterclockwise circles, stopping to beg for a cookie.

Not sure what Stripe is saying.
 
Hi everyone. Mom missed our peak popcorn time at dawn, so she's just watching us munch. I'm hoping my stool firms up again soon.

Mom has to go to the grocery store today or tomorrow.

She got invited to my great aunts house for thanksgiving at the end of the month. Turkey day! Some cousins will be there. Aunt probably felt bad cause mom's mom passed away last year and she doesn't want mom to be alone on a holiday.

Well I better get back to munching!

Missed the boys chief popcorn time this morning again, but when I was leaving the room Stripe wheeked for me to stay. I'm flattered!

Had to read two articles this morning in preparation for a zoom meeting this afternoon but luckily my second zoom meeting got cancelled. I have two appointments, have to grocery shop, have that zoom meeting then clean the boys cages.

Barrett woke me up at 6:25 for wet food, I succeeded in getting him to go away then I heard him puking in my room and sprang up. Damn that cat!

Stripe is gaining back the weight he lost when he was ill. Neither eat many pellets.
 
Hi everyone, I'm tilting my head and it looks like my ear infection is back. I have a vet appointment tonight after mom gets back from work. She got up at 6 to clean our cages. I'm a little uncomfortable but mom caught it early. She's even wondering if it never cleared up all the way because occasionally I'd shake my head.

Mom's thesis is due in 3 weeks then she'll have her master's in creative writing.

Mom only has a 4 hour shift today.

The hay pile is moving because I still feel good enough to dive.

Wish me luck at the vets!

Mom bought three boxes of rose hip cookies and Stripe just decided he doesn't like them anymore.

Mom'll come home from work at 5 tonight! No closing shift.

We're munching hay and Stripe gets critical care. He is eating some on his own.

Mom has four days off starting tomorrow, lots of homework.

When Stripe started tilting his head mom promised herself she'd never get guineas again. But now she's not so upset.

Chez here. I get a cookie after my lettuce, but today I wanted my cookie before my lettuce. Then during my lettuce I asked for another. I didn't get it.

Stripey has lots of poo in his cage, hopefully that means he got enough critical care. He gets his meds in 20 minutes.

Mom's gotta clean today then work on her manuscript.

Well, Chez is zooming at full speed. Going under a pile of hay each lap, then doing my pet peeve of going under the fleece. He poops under there!

Stripe is eating a biscuit, which is good, because he kinda lost his taste for biscuits this ear infection. He had his meds and critical care and is now chutting around the cage.

I'm going to get groceries then clean cages and do health checks on the boys.

Stripe just started wheeking! Wonder what that's about.

Chez gets jealous when Stripe is on my lap, but since he doesn't like lap time he'll just have to be jealous because it is just plain irrational.

Monday X-rays!

By the way, we now have snow too.
 
Good to hear Stripe is perking up, he is a brave little piggy. Chez is making enough chaos for ten pigs 🐾 Mom is feeling better after her stressful time⛅
 
I read that calcified bulla syndrome can affect the jaw, but Stripe is eating and maintaining his weight. He was 920 at the vet Monday and on my scale ten minutes ago he was 933, so I'll stick with 20 ml of critical care a day. I was hoping he'd regain his interest in cookies, but no. I'd like him to gain 70 grams. He's not much of a pellet guy.

Chez is roughly 1030 grams.

He seems happy although he hates being caught with the snuggle sack, avoids it like the plague.

I'm glad I'm the one who bought him, who knows what someone else would have done with a sick piggy.

This ear infection is definitely less severe than the last.

Doc is going to call in his prescription to the local human pharmacy so I don't have to drive so far.

Our piggies think new beds are suspicious & take a long time to try them out, and occasionally ignore them forever, until the hoomans get the message and remove them! We have a few fleece beds put away that our old piggies loved, and Loki and Wally ignore!

I hope Chesney warms up to his new bed soon, looks lovely and cozy. 🥰

As long as they're comfortable and suitable to potty on/in I think your slave knows that you are boarly enough that you don't need to prove anything!

Stripe's poop is finally looking good, so he had a sprig of coriander today. He usually gets a small slice of pepper with benebac, too.

Chez is currently trying to con me into another cookie. He zoomed on the coroplast today and got poop all over.

In fifteen minutes I'm cleaning cages and weighing Stripe.

I work Christmas eve.

At work we sell a mug that looks like a hedgehog and it's face reminds me of Stripe. I might buy it.
