Yvonne,what time is your train from Bristol to Salisbury? I wonder whether you might be on the same train as me unless you're getting an earlier one.

I haven't booked yet but it is likely to be the 10.22 from Bristol to Salisbury, arriving 11.33. That is assuming that my train from Manchester runs on time!

Oh, that's a shame. If you want to message me with your mobile number i will text you on the day and maybe i can meet you at Salisbury Station and we can walk to the pub together. My ticket is really expensive, still over £100.

Owch! Have you tried ticket splitting? Would that make it cheaper?
I think the only specific southwest trains railcard gives discount for is the network railcard , if you're not using them regularly there's no saving , it covers the whole of the southwest as far up as about 3 stations away from Birmingham.

I think Yvonne did look at train ticket splitting when I spoke to her at the kidsgrove fair.I even looked on my train split app and it was around £100 on that.Crazy prices x
