Salisbury Meet - 13 January 2024

I think we had a lovely meet, dinner was nice, company was Wonderful, loved meeting up with old friends and making new friends. Heather's 😇 slipped, feeding youngest piggy wine, got the photos to proof it. in the group photo anyone noticed the gent hiding behind his hand ? Lol. Look forward to the next met.x
 
Well I got back to pick up the dog from ma&pa's doggy daycare & promptly fell asleep in their chair.
I had a lovely time everyone, apologies I didn't get round the table very quickly to speak to everyone. :no:

I had a multiplication on the way home...
I went with 3 piggies & came back with 4 :yikes: thank you @Gem789 :hug:

@Sparklepetal I think you must have been the person I seen when I got there & didn't see you afterwards, hopefully you can stay longer next time 👍🏻

@YvonneBlue I hope your hotel room was comfortable &you get a good night's sleep, hopefully see you again at the next one for a good natter , you too @weepweeps @Bertie & Jelly , was good to chat @IgglesPiggles &I hope you sussed your photo posting?

And I managed to not get in the group picture.....awesome stuff as I really don't like getting my picture taken, even with friends.

Had a lovely time and can't wait for the next meet up.

Managed to get home in one piece and a few drawings done on the train home.

I thought I'd missed someone out, but couldn't think who as everyone was in the photo... Or so I thought 💭 😆 xx
 
Glad you all had a lovely time and @YvonneBlue wasn't too held up by the train problem!
I know some of the names and faces in the photo - could some one put (forum) names to all the faces so we can all know who's who, please?

I hope we can organise a Midlands meet some time soon - the last one in late 2022 got cancelled due to the train strikes 😢

Trudy and Hazelnut would be honoured to know their tunnels and snugglesafes have gone to bring comfort to other piggies. I expect they have lots of plush hideys to enjoy in rainbow world 🌈

(sorry for bits of fur and hay, they were washed but I didn't pick out all the bits that stayed snuggled in!)
 
Drove back to Yorkshire today for another week of work being done.
It was a wonderful weekend and despite some roadworks causing delays the journeys up and down the country were good.
It was so lovely to catch up with friends I’ve met before and forum friends I hadn’t met in real life.
It felt as if I’d always known you.
Great to have a bit of time with my brother & his family too.

I would love to come to another meet - being retired will give me much more freedom to travel.
I wouldn’t make one in July due to moving house but would come next January.
