What made you happy today?

Went horseriding yesterday - perfect weather - after nearly 2 years :yahoo: 🥰🥳 Though I did get bitten (felt like a clamp!) on the leg by someone else's horse which has left a nasty dark bruise!
The horse I rode was named Satin and she was a lovely girl, about 8 years old and very calm. I will have to remember to ask for her next time!

A few months ago I ordered a set of eight fleece liners. My address is a nightmare to find so I get items delivered to the local shop, which is a pick up point. When I attempted to collect them the barcode was damaged meaning I couldn't have them. No problem, ordered more and got my refund. Last month when collecting another order the guy in the shop had the pack of fleeces out along with my delivery. I "jokingly" said I'd have them and boss man told me that if they weren't collected by the very large unnamed company by a certain date I could . I totally forgot all about it until I went to the shop today and left with them!

I drove me and Chester to my daughter’s new house today for the first time on my own. It’s about an hour away and I’m not the most confident driver so I was really proud of myself. There was also a diversion because of a road closure. 👍🏻

It’s a day late but yesterday was a lovely day.
Went into Liverpool with my husband and we did some Christmas shopping.
He headed home while I met a colleague for lunch.
We had a lovely time and then in the evening @PigglePuggle and PiggyDaddy came for a meal and to collect the piggies.
We had a really lovely evening together and it was very moving to see how excited the piggies were when their slaves appeared.
My study floor looks decidedly empty now.

1. Accidentally taught Baby Poggle to fist bump. He spent the remaining half an hour before bed approaching me and his Dad and demanding "bump" with outstretched fist.

2. Sorry @rp1993, after our conversation last night my new hay samplers from Happy Hay Co. arrived today. I've tried the Timothy and Orchard hays so far and both have been absolutely demolished without a second thought. Although, maybe my pigs' tastes just aren't as refined?

Okay, that's adorable.

Sounds like the goblins! They love them both and the oat hay. And then they ignore the meadow and crau :))

Haha apparently not!

Okay, that's adorable.

Zero bumps were denied. I defy anyone to deny my tiny fist-bumping toddler.

Honestly I still can't believe those genes are mine; he's the cutest, brightest, most joyful toddler* I've ever met. I have never been any of those things :))

*I am definitely Not Biased.

We didn't get the crau, I think there's Oat, Rye, annnnd Meadow left to try... I guess we'll find out tomorrow! Also got some from Hay & Straw coming at some point.

I love these sample sizes, I wish they did mini orders of different hays for people who don't want a whole box of the stuff, just a bit of variety.

The crau's not always available - it's a specific kind of organic meadow that can only be grown in France, lol. Proper posh hay and the goblins won't even acknowledge that it's in front of them 😂 the oat goes down a treat with them too. They were kinda "meh" on the rye.

Ah well, at least they have good taste in servant :tu:

Mine didn't like the Crau oat or orchard. The neighbours rabbit did well!

Glad the rabbit next door did their bit against food waste! It's a tough job but it needs doing.

I found some of my genes! Baby Poggle ate lots of toast and then announced that it was time for a nap and took himself up to bed.

@Betsy Wine, cake, and guinea pigs - what's not to like!

@fluffysal I no longer drink spirits after one too many eventful nights out in my youth :shh: But this is a supportive, inclusive space and all tipples of choice (alcoholic or non-) are welcome here!

@PiggyintheMiddle If I could do that I'd be off making my fortune as an internet sensation :))

Which part was your genes? The eating lots, the being sensible without being told to, or the daytime sleeping?
