They absolutely know. They also know when 11am becomes 12pm and when you're trying to pretend that never happened at all.
 
Spending the weekend at Middlewich folk and boat festival. Sitting on the roof of my dad's canal boat hearing a singer playing at the local pub in the background. Life doesn't get much better than that. Even if dad did insist on wearing his patched up denim short shorts and tails jacket all weekend 🙈
 
I could've done a 20° eco wash, or a 30° wash that I know my skin doesn't complain at, but that wash takes 3h25m.
Yeah, I went for the long one lol. I can't believe I'm so happy about a washing machine but even the detergent drawer has the most satisfying click. Oh and I can put liquid soap in the drawer now too! Finally, no more having to scramble for a Persil cup.
 
Well, this one makes some weird noises of its own at the start of the wash but it did wash the clothes yesterday, it has started the cycle today with no problems, and it was exceptionally quiet yesterday. Not only that but it didn't shake the whole house during a full spin and it spins faster than the old one did!
 
I rag on the goblins and their (distinct lack of) table manners a lot, but I just gave them a piece of lettuce each because of course the first mouthful has to be handfed every time. Bann got his, Cam's was curling round my finger slightly and my delightful delinquent made a concerted effort to eat the lettuce but avoid chomping on my finger at the same time too :wub:
 
In chronological order:

1. I have a new sofa pillow; it is huge and fluffy and I almost want to have to sleep on sofa tonight (toddler related) so I can use it.
2. Baby Poggle noticed that he could stack his cup tower himself, and was literally squealing with excitement.
3. THE SCAFFOLDING IS DOWN. I can't wait to sleep with my windows wide open, whatever the weather chooses to do.

We've all been super sad this week with the death of our doggo on my dad's 1 year anniversary.

So we ditched work and school, jumped in the car at 6am and headed to our favourite place in the Lakes. If anyone hasn't visited Eskdale, I'd highly recommend it.
