Do any of you have a (preferably eggless) go to vanilla sponge cake recipe? Want to make cake for us. I’ll have to make some biscuits as well because the youngest doesn’t eat cake
My housemate ate it. People go crazy for my cookies, but I don’t like them. For some reason, peanut butter and chocolate baked together tastes gross to me. Melted chocolate and melted peanut butter are fine in a candy or sundae though.
We make this recipe at the moment, as fairy cakes. I haven’t tried to scale it up into a big cake yet.Thank you

Is chickpea flour a good egg replacement?Oh no, just realised I may only have plain flour. I do have baking powder though.

I think it is. You can also use the liquid from tinned chickpeas or boiled ones. I’ve used both in bread and baking.
