Today we build a cupboard to store the hay, food and forage which meant I could make the room tidier.
My study is now officially the guinea pigs’ room as they occupy more than half.
I am permitted to share it with them

Well ... I'm allowed to share my guinea pig's room (my living room) but it's really their flat. I'm the cleaning lady, the one who prepares and serves their meals, their chauffeur and the one who pays the bills.
Wondering if I took a wrong turn at some point in the past...

I had to do a double take there.

The carrot cottage continues to wander.
Having put it back the right way up at breakfast time, by lunchtime it had been turned round.
Come veggie time I scattered their food around as usual and out popped Moses’ nose from the front door and Miriam’s from the back door !

It’s getting very difficult foe the carrot cottage to stay upright now

My Chip (rip) was the king of flipping over carrot cottages. (I cut another door opposite the original door to convert it for boars). Well I have 2 side by side across the width of the cage, Chip used to go in one and throw his head up to flip it onto it's side then go into the other and do the same. Usually blocking Bumble down the other end of the cage. He was so naughty, I miss him.

The carrot cottage can no longer stand up - it only has 1 corner left !
Both piggies in the hay house now.
I expect the carrot cottage will soon be a boat

There is a black hole in the cage. Everything is sucked into it, accompanied by crunching and nibbling sounds.
Miriam decided not to cooperate with the camera.

By yesterday evening the carrot cottage had been moved - I think they’re trying to get it into their nice new hay bag.
There was also an enormous pile of poops behind the carrot cottage - I really don’t know how they manage to produce so much !

They are clearly helping you to fertilise your garden. Probably hoping for a veg patch so you can produce nice veg for them next year!

The poop is your reward for feeding them so well!

Cage clean today as well as health check.
Both piggies let me check them thoroughly and have a brief cuddle without trying to escape.

They then started reorganising their nice clean cage.
Apparently the carrot cottage won’t go into the hay bag so this time they seem to be trying to get the hay bag into the carrot cottage!

The appearance of veggies temporarily interrupted work.
