Great news.
Glad Ginger Pig is doing so well.
Gabapentin can make you feel very wobbly.
I was given it once and decided I’d rather endure the pain of neuralgia than take a second tablet!
Slave said some bad words I can't repeat for your delicate ears
Weeing not seeing !Dear Ginger Pig,
We’re glad you’re feeling better and we approve of you seeing over your slave.
We love the mush, especially if it’s aniseed flavour, so you could always sneak yours in our direction.
Love from Micah, Naomi and Ruth
Don’t worry, they take ages to put lost weight back on but he’ll do so in time. Hope it goes really well today for Ginger Pig xPost op check-up for Ginger Pig this afternoon. Fingers crossed that all is healing well.
He is looking a little thin and has not yet regained any of the weight he lost while we were away. I have to be careful with his diet as it has to be low calcium but he is now getting big piles of fresh grass from the garden every day. Hopefully, he will regain some weight over time.
I think because he is hairless it looks worse as i can see the bones in his spine. He weighs 840g which is 120g less than a month ago. He is eating well but i have stopped the syringe feeding as he hated it and it had become a battle of wills. I'm hoping he will regain the weight once it is warm enough for them to spend sometime out on the lawn.Don’t worry, they take ages to put lost weight back on but he’ll do so in time. It's good to hear that your piggy recovered well from the same op. I halved Ginger's dose of Gabapentin on Monday (so that he is on the same dose as Peggy who also has arthritis) and he was much brighter the next day. I will mention it to the vet today. He was sleeping all the time and was just a bit out of it. Zombie piggy is not a good look.Oh Yvonne, I’m so sorry you’re going through so much with your gang at the moment, but so pleased Ginger Pig has done so well bless him
My RB Rupert (on my avatar) had exactly the same thing, his stone was a similar size and had to have an emergency op and a cut in his urethra to get it out as he couldn’t pee at all! He did really well with his recovery and healed quickly, he was an older boy too, hoping the same for lovely Ginger
Sending loads of healing vibes to the gorgeous lad and big hugs for you both, hope the vets goes well xx
Aah poor Ginger, I’m glad he’s not a zombie pig now and feeling a bit brighter bless him! Sure the dose is doing the trick if he’s got his appetite anyway Hope he starts gaining those grams back now too now he’s feeling a bit better! xxIt's good to hear that your piggy recovered well from the same op. Back from the vet appointment. Unfortunately, Ginger Pig has a bit of infection in his wound. So we have a week of a different antibiotic and i'm not sure how to tell poor Ginger this but i have to clean his penis twice a day with hibiscrub.
Please keep this quiet as i don't want The One and Only Thea to find out or i will be in serious trouble with the GPU.
