It never rains........

Sadly Ginger Pig deteriorated over the weekend and was no longer able to use his back legs and could no longer support himself with his front legs due to the arthritis in his spine. We have kept him comfortable, hand feeding him grass and veggies and helped him across the rainbow bridge this afternoon. Ginger was the first of our piggies (along with Dora) almost 6 years ago and it is a very sad day for us. It's hard to process losing two of our piggies in two weeks. 😭

Oh Yvonne I'm so sorry, you must both be devastated :( he could've known no better life, and he's probably yelling up a storm at the Bridge already. :hug:
 
So sorry to read this Yvonne. He got to a good age for a skinny boy thanks to your loving care, sorry it comes so close to your previous loss. :hug:

I'm so sorry to read that Ginger has flown over the rainbow bridge.Its very hard emotionally when you loose piggies in quick succession.I'm thinking of you at this sad time.xx

Ginger pig was living his best life ever with you all and if only all the love from the members here could have saved him

I am so sorry to read this sad news. You fought so hard for him and he would know how much love you had for him. Mavis needed him at the bridge and they will now be popcorning together. Take care of yourself after this devastating time. Sending hugs
