I don’t know what to do

Yes that's fine.

You know what, I would separate them now actually. Why wait till tomorrow? Do you have a cage for the boars to live in? You will have to get a bigger one because they need more space than sows - minimum 150x60cm but 180x60cm is preferable.
No I don’t have a cage for them that’s why I am free roaming them in my room. Mickey usually stays under my desk to sleep and that’s where I keep the pee and poo pads. I would usually use the cage I have the sows in at the moment for Mickey since he knows his way in and out the cage.

Okay that's fine. Please make sure the room is secure and the pup can't get trapped anywhere or go anywhere he shouldn't. I would do the bonding downstairs somewhere and hoover/clean your room thoroughly. Change the pee pads etc.

I change the pee pads every second day. I do have a few gaps in my room that needs to be covered up I will do that tomorrow morning and I’ll have to buy more pee pads. It’ll be best for me to bond them tomorrow.

So Mickey isn't caged at all? Free roam is fine but you will have to be so incredibly careful free roaming a baby given they can fit in some very tiny places and will explore everything via chewing.
You must bond them in a place that neither of them have been before.

This is heartbreaking to read. Our society have moved from the old ways, yes we have long to go, but I would hope the general idea is that we do not need to create more animals that'll suffer because we want to see the cute little babies...
I am afraid to say your friend wouldn't know if her pigs are ill since she never weighed them and with huge numbers like that she wouldn't know if their pee or poo is different. I also doubt she wouldn't have fatalities with set up like that and all piggies basically related to each other. It's disaster waiting to happen..

Breeding is wrong, you're literally gambling with mother and babies lives when intentionally breeding and you've been given lots of support and advice, yet choose to keep them in unsuitable conditions, mixed sexes, giving them milk (the syringe is on the cage) and not giving enough hay. I do hope you reconsider and do the right thing.

I've never bred from any of my pets or bought animals from breeders. Unfortunately, because of people like your friend there will always be pets who need rehoming.

Mickey had a cage before the babies were born. He would go back in his cage to sleep and came out in the morning on his own. Now he doesn’t have the cage since the sows are in it.

Ok. That cage the sows are in isn't big enough though for the two boars to be in at all though.
Do bear in mind that they dont sleep during the night like that so they will be wandering around all the time - they only sleep in short bursts throughout the day and night.

Do you have a plan in case of character incompatibility between the two boars when the baby hits his teens? They won't be able to free roam together if incompatibilities come to light

It's not a guarantee. Being related doesn't matter, it's about whether they like each other or not. Teenage months can test even the best of bonds. For a bond to work there can only be one top pig and one under pig. If the under pig decides they don't want to be under pig (and top pig doesn't want to give up their position), that's where problems could arise. Hopefully they will work out though.

:agr:
Character compatibility is vital to any bond and being related does not mean they will definitely have compatibility.
Hopefully they will be fine together for the long term but having a plan is a good idea as you just won't know what is going to happen until it happens.

Charlie and Mickey never fought. Mickey has never acted aggressive towards another guinea pig. Hopefully they bond well since they are father and son. Also I’ve noticed mickeys fur is coming off a lot. Usually when I wear a black shirt and I hold him his fur would be everywhere. Is that normal ?

Charlie and Mickey didn't fight because they were compatible. You cannot guarantee these two boars will be. Just something to bear in mind.

If he is excessively losing hair then he ought to be seen by a vet and checked for potential skin problems

In October sadly. After that we got minnie not knowing they would breed since I never did my research. Then minnie got really heavy and she gave birth.

Charlie and Mickey were my originals and they were both boars. When charlie died we got minnie not knowing they were gonna breed. Then in January they had babies.

He isn’t excessively losing hair. Only a little bit. Do guinea pigs shed ?

Yes they do shed, but in the original mention of this you said he is losing a lot but here you say its only a little bit. We cant say whether he is experiencing normal amounts of shedding or whether it is as a result of a skin problem. Only a vet can diagnose whether its normal or whether there is something else going on. He will need to be seen

I got her from my friend who had 50 piggies. I had told her that Charlie died and she offered minnie since she was about mickeys age. My friend did not tell me the gender and I just assumed she was a boy.

I don’t know how much is a lot since I’m not a vet but I’ll say like 10-20 pieces of fur will end up sticking to my shirt. I shower Mickey every 2 months since that’s what google recommended.

So you got her from your breeder friend mentioned earlier in the thread. This is why we do not support breeding.

No, this is not correct. You should not bathe them every two months as that will cause them skin problems. They do not need bathing at all. Please do not go by what google is telling you as this is why you are getting incorrect information, you need to have any health issue checked by a vet. Bathing will not cure a potential skin issue - only veterinary prescribed treatment will do that. This may be simple shedding, but we are only going on your written word to give advice

Sorry, it's just hard to believe you wouldn't realise they would breed if they were male and female since you have a friend who breeds them and now can sex 2-3wks pigs.
I wasn’t aware of minnies gender. I originally named her Charles since I thought she was a boy and I named her Charles in honour of Charlie. I never flipped her on her back to see since it was bad for her.

You dont flip a piggy on its back to sex it anyway, but it was still your responsibility to sex them before putting two piggies together.

Next time I’ll take a picture of my black top and I’ll also get him checked up soon. I got Mickey off my other friend who didn’t want him anymore since they were moving countries same as Charlie. I’m not sure where he got them from.
