Eriathwens piggies

Poor Forrest. He is such a handsome boy. Hope the blood test results show something treatable.xx

Forrest is 850g today, the most he has ever weighed.. out of spite 🤣 he just felt like getting me to spend money at the vet, clearly! He is still not out of the woods obviously but it's at least a good sign his bloodwork may come back clear and he just needed a bit of an extra food boost.

Mabel hasn't gained any weight and has soft poops again, but she's eating really well and has just started her intensive care emeraid, so hopefully that will help. She doesn't much like the taste of it though so I've been bribing her with a piece of melon today 😅

Good news for Forrest, his bloodwork came back fine except for high white blood cell count, the type that's high can be from some tumours so she requested a further look into that and they're not abnormal so we can pretty much rule out anything nasty, other than an infection somewhere. He is being put on a different antibiotic that starts with C that I cant remember 😅 but hopefully he will be back to 100% soon.

We've sat and had a bit of a cuddle, I've had an uncharacteristic bit of free time so decided to spend it with the boys 🥰

Theyre such sweet little men aren't they 🤣 you'd never know the pair of them were absolute buggers, they look so angelic when they're asleep 😂

Poor Mabel has gone and developed a patch of ringworm, its come up so suddenly! Considering how often I handle her and touch her face, I've only just found her nose is very scabby under the hair. She will probably lose quite a large patch overnight. Luckily I have some of the ointment left over from when Pumpkin went to the vet for it around her eye. I always get given a full bottle as it comes in useful for the others if they get it, so I've got her started on that straight away!

Her poor immune system must have taken a bit of a whack, hopefully in the couple of weeks incubation period all the extra food and vitamin C she's getting will be helping and it won't be a reoccurring problem.

poor Mabel, hope you get her sorted very soon 🤞

Gosh it’s never ending for you atm - dear Mabel so lucky you are very observant 🥰

Poor girl.
It’s one thing after another for you all.
At least you’ve caught the ringworm quickly.
Hope you haven’t picked it up too

Luckily I seem to be immune to it.. hopefully I've not jinxed myself there 😅 but I've never caught it yet. As predicted all the scabbing and hair came off, it looks really nice and healthy underneath though at least.

We've had Dylan a year today which I can't believe! He's such a big chunky boy now.

I was also taking some pictures and one of them looked familiar.. when I say I'm almost certain Amber and Iris are related to Daisy and Delilah, this is what I meant 🤣 they have the exact mannerisms.

Anyway, enjoy a little piggy spam!

So, along with a small cyst on Oliver, yesterday I found Tillys neck was swollen and she had some lumps, one was a small wound in the skin, not sure if it was related or not but unfortunately the other seems to be an abscess. It doesn't appear to be dental, fingers crossed and her teeth look great apparently.

So we're looking at antibiotics for a bit to see if that helps or if it goes down on its own..its not exactly massive. Otherwise she will be going in for penicillin injections with the nurse for the rest of her life. I cant do them as I'm allergic and anaphylaxis isn't fun! But she was a good girl, apart from pooping all over the floor, me and the table but at least they're solid 🤣
We are probably not going to be going down the road of surgery, given her age and list of health problems. If she makes it to her birthday she will be 9 in August.
