Betsy's Guinea Pigs

Misty and little Bramble took some veg from me for the first time tonight. It was only a few pieces but we have to start somewhere. They are settling in nicely. They now have timeshare in the run with Thea and they love the extra space as its twice the size of their cage.

Could you modify so they can access that penthouse? Or is that where Thea lives?

Bet your back is thanking you 😊

Great set up in your garage!
Thanks! It works well. The piggies are out of the rain and the wind in the winter and I can keep them nice and warm and are cool in the summer. (The garage is insulated.) There is a big window to the right of the picture so there is lots of natural light coming in. They are also well away from the foxes that frequent my garden day and night.

She’s very cute, and so tiny.

Do you know what breed she is (I am just nosy), she looks like she’s going to have some impressive hair:wub:
She's only a baby. She was born in January somewhen so she's only around 6 months old. She's a bit of a mixture. Her Mum is Misty, a grey and white Sheltie (who I adopted with her) and I have seen a picture of her Dad who was a Texel (with very impressive hair.)

I am slowly getting Bramble used to the grooming comb by gently grooming her weekly when she has her weekly check. She is still a bit scared to be held at the moment. As she gets more used to me I'll slowly build it up so she gets a groom daily.

I have a baby, he is a swiss teddy, and I don’t really know how to take care of his hair but we are getting there.

I am also in the stages of getting him used to brushing as he is only 9 weeks.
Fingers crossed she feels a bit more brave with her daily/weekly brushes soon x

Miss Bramble is just such a beauty. Her Dad being a texel explains her luscious locks.
