I'm sure they will once they've settled in.

I've noticed that at a certain angle Misty's eyes are ruby and at other angles they are black. When the OH first met them he said that Misty had red eyes but I insisted they were black. We are clearly both right. It is weird.
 
Just catching up. So glad Misty and Bramble are settling in, they really are beautiful ❤️ I wouldn’t worry to much about the weight loss, they’ve been through a lot these past few weeks. My late Ena had different coloured eyes from different angles. It just makes them even more unique

My boys Bill and Ted had those eyes, depending upon the light/angle. Ted had one black eye and one more Ruby/black eye, they are all so different in colours. Ginger has red/amber eyes depending upon the light too. her “Amber“ eyes are stunning
 
Sorry that i missed your new arrivals. It's been a bit stressful here for the past couple of weeks.

Miss Bramble and Misty are so beautiful, what lucky ladies to have found a home with you. :love: :love:

Hope the bonding goes well and Thea behaves herself with the newbies.

So you wouldn't need to worry about that. :whistle:
But I do have quite a lot of experience being husboar to 5 lovely ladies already.

Tried bonding Thea with Misty and Bramble today, to say it didn't go well was a bit of an understatement! I knew within 20 minutes it wasn't going to work. Lots of teeth chattering straight away, lot of chasing between Misty and Thea, chin ups etc. I could tell by the body language that it wasn't working so took Thea out before it escalated. There was hardly any eating of hay while they sized each other up. It was almost instant dislike. Little Bramble was trying to make herself look as small as possible.

I read the Forum Guide to Bonding before I started and it said that on of the hardest bonds is with old bereaved sows and that is exactly what Thea is.
 
Aww that’s a shame sport to hear it’s a no from Thea ☹️
