I get that with the weather ….it’s odd atm
Hopefully the tank will last ok.
You’ve come soooooo far without a tobacco pouch well done you ! 🥰
I hope you’re proud of yourself for all that hard work ! ( as you said it’d be so easy…..)

Oh, definitely. It's just hard to overstate just how easy it was - shove some tobacco, papers and tips into a (usually cork) pouch and leave the house with that and a lighter. Easy to fit in a pocket, no extra stuff to take up room.

Now if I'm going out I generally always bring the same device with me (dual batteries, which helps but isn't the only reason) but I still need to be sure I have spares, and I need to bring a bottle of juice with me too even if it's only for a couple of hours. Those batteries aren't exactly lightweight, and because they're lithium batteries you're best with separate cases for each. Four batteries + cases, device, juice...it's doable, and it's not that I haven't got it factored in to what I'm doing, but it's a far cry from the ease of a pouch and a lighter.

I discovered an unopened 10ml bottle of 1.5mg juice this morning. 1.5mg is literally as low as it gets, most juice won't go below 3mg, and it was unopened. Hell I bought it (and forgot about it, lol) because I didn't like the original non-iced versions so I wanted to try it with ice, it felt like a waste to ignore it. Plus, very little nicotine. So I'm basically shooting my way through the end of the bottle, and it is definitely the last I'll be vaping with nic. Still got some bottles here I'm not sure if they have any? So I'm keeping them to remind myself which I need to replace, but they're banished to the very back of the drawer and I'll not be vaping them at all.

I don't know why I keep repeating that. It's almost a mantra now: "Replace don't vape, replace don't vape, replace don't vape." lol.

Fell down a rabbit hole on my facebook page looking at old photos. I wish I was that thin again (I used to think I was big and I wasn't!) I wish that those friends in the photos, who I thought were my friends, were still willing to have adventures with me ☹

We are always here for you 🥰

After seeing the physio on Friday my sciatica has worsened to the stage I can barely move. Luckily mum has been on hand to take the toddler but I didn't even manage to get her fed and dressed this morning. I mean it's 10am I'm not even fed and dressed but I just feel absolutely useless.

Oh Lady Kelly I really feel for you having had sciatica myself - keep in mind it will get better even though you can’t imagine it will just yet - it’s great you have Mum to help you 🥰

I am sorry you are feeling low @Lady Kelly , bad backs make every task so hard. I remember when my children were small crawling round the house on my hands and knees stopping them getting into mischief in the mornings until my Mum could arrive to spend the day with them. There were many times when I don't know what I would have done without a willing Grandmother living near by in times of need. Your back will get better. Sending you healing vibes for a speedy recovery.

Aye thanks 😘. Tried cutting out coffee too - lasted about an hour 🤣. Hope SW going well.
I don't have that problem as I don't drink tea or coffee. I drink water and wine! (When I told this to the Dr his immediate reaction was "Who are you, Jesus?) I've drunk no alcohol for 3 weeks :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: I am on a Mission! No wine (or any sort of alcohol) for me until my friends come over for a meal and an overnight stay at the end of March. SW plan going well so far thanks.

I’m sorry your sciatica has flared up @Lady Kelly it is hideous and I feel for you. Hopefully it will begin to feel better soon 😞

Oh no you don’t need that Lorcan !
I hope maybe with rest tonight it’ll be a bit better tomorrow …..otherwise you’ll have to sit with that ankle raised while you play Dragon Age 😂

Argh. 15 months I've lived in this house, and I sprained my ankle tonight going out to the bins because I somehow misjudged the step. And I'm grateful I was wearing boots, or I'd've gone right over instead.
Hope it’ll be better with some rest!

Length of time you’ve lived somewhere is of no consequence. I once twisted my ankle when I stepped out the back door… I fell down the stairs several times. (they’re steep). I even managed to trip UP some stairs!. Bear in mind I was absolutely shattered on all these occasions...

Ice and rest. Hope the goblins won’t complain too much!

I misjudged the width and caught my heel on it, but I got lucky. That's not far off how I broke my foot years ago, a sprained ankle isn't so bad. At least that's what I'll be reminding myself tomorrow, lol.

Yeah that's what wireless keyboards and mice were made for :))

My foot started to hurt coming back from my walk this afternoon. It's been getting worse all evening. I've kept it elevated as much as I can but now it's very swollen and painful to put to the floor. It must be strained, goodness knows how, I was only walking on pavements!

I'm sorry you are having sciatica @Lady Kelly ,its the one of the most painful things.sometimes gabepentin can help.

Thanks, I have a doctor's appointment later to look at prescriptions. There's limited meds I can take when pregnant and even the ones they can prescribe carry risks. Trying my best with gentle movements today to try and ease it a little

My wrists have played up for a few years now and they've been a bit weak and I've had pain in them for about 5 years but recently the pain in my right wrist has gotten really bad.Ive got constant pins and needles in my fingers and keep getting sharp pains in the side of my hand and regular painkillers don't touch it.Ive got an appointment with a doctor on the 10th of march, that's the earliest they can see me.Also got a burning pain in the top of my buttocks that I've had for a little while now and sometimes a shooting pain down my Thigh. It sometimes keeps me awake at night.I had this a few years ago but it's come back again.I was told it was sciatica by people I mentioned it to.Just hope the doctors will give me some strong painkillers as I'm getting fed up now.

It does sound like sciatica ( Ive had it before.) The wrist and hand problems sound like carpel tunnel syndrome.
Really good you have a Drs appt even tho it’s 10 days away - keep strong and focus on that appt and the help you’ll get ❤️

do you think its something acupuncture can help with? I go to acupuncture for a few types of chronic pain and it really has been a lifesaver at times. I know some people who went during pregnancy as well and it really helped them. Do you think it might be worth it for you to look into?

The good news is that it isn't sciatica. It's piriformis syndrome which causes sciatic pain. Complementary therapies would really help, I've had two lots of reflexology so far. The main problem now is being immobile from it so not being able to get anywhere for treatment. The reflexologist lives just over a 5 min walk away, I should be there on Friday but depends on my ability to walk

You have my sympathies @LadyKelly in my pregnancy with Son No 3 I had Sacroiliitis. This was very painful and meant that my left leg kept collapsing when I was walking and getting out of bed and going down the stairs was fun! Sometimes being pregnant isn't the joy filled fiesta it's made out to be. Women who sail through pregnancy with no morning sickness and nothing else going wrong with their bodies somewhere are few and far between. Pregnancy puts a lot of stress on a woman's body. Women's bodies are fantastic when you think about it. What is more wonderful than growing another human inside you?

Trying out a new recipe. The book says ready in 45 minutes. It's lots of roasted veg with chicken thighs on the top. It's been in the oven now for 45 minutes and the butternut squash is still hard! I was reckoning on around an hour but even this may be optimistic. It's just as well OH is late home from work tonight.
