My husband did that to me too, but I thought it was the dryer that had broke! I ended up washing and drying his car keys. They are the ones with the microchip built in too. Thankfully dryer and keys are still working; keys are a bit worse for wear as they have to be kept together with duct tape and super glue.

My children are on spring break right now so I did did an escape room for them. They had a ton of fun and enjoyed finding candy at the end.

I called the repair guy ($$), and it turned out to be the baby gate I had leaned against the machine.

Bit of an odd one maybe (and maybe I've posted something similar before? I cant remember if I did or if I just thought about it 😂). I have a grumpy, teething young man today, and this afternoon he was screaming bloody murder. I was absently wandering around the living room trying to console him and I noticed that, even with this loud thing so close by, my pigs were all out in the open, noses up, with that hopeful expression we all know so well. I was so worried about how they would react to a baby in the house, and it makes me happy to see them so obviously confident and happy despite the disruption. I am very grateful.

Aww they are caring about their baby brother too!

Ps, if you haven't discovered it yet... Anbesol liquid is awesome as is Ashton and parsons teething powder

I had a really bad mouth ulcer that hurt all the time, I had some Anbesol teething gel cos one of my boys was teething. I put the gel on my mouth ulcer and almost instantly half of the inside of my mouth went completely numb. Teething gel is good stuff!

Yes I tried it on a mouth ulcer once too, absolute magic

The 11-y-o has braces pain. She insists the teething gel causes more pain. 😳

Nearly half way through deep cleaning my bedroom. Was a surprise to find some Royal family souvenir books from I got from my grandparents house. Spent an enjoyable hour reading about the coronation of King George vi and the wedding of Princess Elizabeth & Philip. How times have changed since then!
 
I’m feeling quite happy and positive today.

We are having an early Easter tea today because my two children and their partners are all here and next week they are all busy.

I visited my sister today and helped her with her housework. She has ME and fibromyalgia. Works full time has two kids and her husband isn’t very helpful around the house. He’s nice though.

My mum , who has dementia, is doing ok. I helped my dad order her two pairs of new shoes this week 👍🏻. Which she loved.

The sun is shining and the piggies are happy. ❤️
 
I've not long got back from Leamington spa.Met some old work colleagues for a meal then went to see totally Tina( a Tina turner tribute band) at the royal spa theatre.Although I'm not really a Tina turner fan and don't know too many songs,I thought they were brill and it was nice to see my old workmates.
 
DH and I are taking a trip for his birthday, and I found a fantastic walking tour that I know he will love on his actual birthday :D
But they only had 1 ticket available :(
So I booked the single ticket (it was refundable) and have been checking the website daily to see if another ticket becomes available.
And today it did!
So that's DH's birthday present sorted :D:D:D
