Go Betsy!
Approx 20g loss today but that could just be an empty bladder or tum. I'll weigh her tomorrow and see. I may have to start the extra meal recovery food again. I'll see how she is tomorrow. I want to encourage Betsy to eat hay on her own so I'll hold off the extra meals for another day or so and see what happens.Today, Betsy had no syringe food and no Metaclopramide either as her last dose was yesterday morning. I hope she'll either have maintained or gained tomorrow .....
Evie is also booked in for Monday with our exotics vet. She’s also lost some weight and was definitely “off” last night. She’s an older lady - she was thought to be about 2 when she was surrendered and I’ve had her 2 1/2 years. I’m suspecting some sort of pain issue. It must be the time of year for weight loss, Milo has lost 100g over 4 weeks. So we have an appointment with the vets at 8.30am on Monday. I initially thought the weight loss was down to the two young girls eating more than their fare share but even though we have upped the amount of veggies he is still losing weight.
Sounds like she has found her appetite again. Such a relief for you.The Ever Beautiful Betsy would like to let every one know that today she weighed in at 979g an increase of 31g in 2 days. She also would like to thank everyone and everypig for their good luck and keep munching vibes.
