Something odd is happening with the boys, especially Sir George. It's almost like a personality transfer. It started with Sir George being very frisky at lap time. Normally he likes a brief petting session (but don't stroke his head!) then he licks your arm before flopping out for a nap. Now he's started climbing up us and demanding cuddles. Master Boris used to do that but is now immediately snuggling down for strokes.
Sir George has also started pooping everywhere in his cage, even the hammock!
What's going on? Has Sir George decided that he can act like an unruly youngster now he nolonger has to set an example of proper "top pig" behaviour?
I'm very confused, it's almost like Master Boris has grown up but Sir George has regressed.
I must admit though that I do enjoy seeing Sir George not being dignified 😍
 
Maybe Sir George heard that living with a sow can be a big of a messy business sometimes and is changing his routine to get into a more relaxed attidude to life as preparation.
Odi sends his best wishes and also wants to let Sir George know that pee spraying isn't that bad because it smells deliciously of girl. :drool:
 
Last night The Daddy Slave made Sir George jump during lap time and was punished with a (gentle) nip and a growl!
What has happened to my calm, chilled and totally unflappable little man?
I had him out yesterday and he snuggled up and went to sleep in my arms 💤 ❣️, lovely but totally out of character!
Meanwhile Master Boris had a quick cuddle, and flopped out on The Daddy Slaves lap. This is what Sir George used to do!
 
Normal service is being resumed with Sir George. Last night at lap time he ate a few pea flakes, licked hubby's arm, then following a big yawn and stretch he flopped out and went to sleep. Also I can see a tidy pile of poo in his cage.
There is never normal for anything concerning Master Boris....🤣
 
I've noticed that they're both doing all their weeing in the same spot either side of the divider. Will this continue indefinitely or will they stop?
 
I'm glad I bought so many new pee pads as Master Boris is soaking them by doing all his weeing in the same place, so twice a day change at the moment.....
He's also being very smelly and a right little rumble monster. He has spent most of today patrolling the dividers, rumbling and chattering his teeth. 🙄
Meanwhile Sir George is just looking at him like "dude, what's going on?" I don't think that's the response he wants 🤔
 
Where do you get pee pads? They are such an asset. Tested to the limit 😉
 
My boars are doing the same sort of thing 🙁 but are OK when they are in separate cages. I try to get them out in the kitchen and hall every evening for some exercise and lap time. I think (hope) things might change as the hormones wear away 🤞

This is Hamish, first living with Billy as a neighbour, now Wally. It’s like he loves the knowledge no pig can annoy him. he looks so peaceful making hay nests & taking a nap next to the divide.
(I know in reality its boundary marking, but he goes about it sooooo calmly)
 
The only issue I had was too many lovely designs....I went for a pack of ten random ones and am very glad I picked the bigger size.
 
For some reason Etsy have blocked my account. It's something to do with the fact I haven't entered my bank details but I never sell anything on Etsy only buy so why would I need to enter my bank details? It wasn't a problem before. I have tried to contact them but ended up going round and round in circles!

I've had a similar problem with them. I've given up with them now.
