Pringle & Panko’s Thread

Sorry it went live at 7pm! There is one tunnel left i believe

I am so pleased to have got some, your hammocks fit the frame so well, even better than the one that came with it. Bertie loves his hammock, I struggle to keep up with the washing!

That’s great news! I’ve never had a hammock stand even though I make them but I’m sure panko would enjoy one

These two pigs are going to be the death of me.. quite literally!

A few weeks ago they both lost weight, I was a bit worried but thought they had been leaving a lot of hay so it must be that, I’d already added a new one from pillow wad into the mix with their usual meadow from happy hay co but they didn’t seem to love it, and they were leaving the happy hay co one as well. I know from Instagram that fussy pigs love the Cotswold sweet hay (rye hay) from little hay co so ordered some and they love it, both put back on the grams they have lost, brilliant..
after a few days start to notice I’m struggling to breath! Now I did start some new medication so though hmm maybe it’s that, but it really did feel like the asthma symptoms I got when we first got the boys and they had Timothy hay, I’ve stuck it out for two weeks, took some antihistamines which will give me a few hours of normal breathing but not enough so here we go again the never ending cycle of finding hay they will eat!

I’m going to try happy hay co orchard we haven’t had that before but Pringle used to love orchard hay, Panko has just corrupted him as Pringle was never a fussy pig!

They are going to the boarders tomorrow for 5 days so they can use up all their yummy hay there!

Anyway here they are! Trying to kill their Mum!

Have you tried Ings hay ?
Mine loved it when I bought some from the Hay & Straw Co.
No I haven’t, I haven’t even heard of it! I will add that to the list to order! Was it soft or course?
They prefer softer

They do taster boxes - a small sample of each of the 3 hays they do.
As postage is free you can try out the different hays without wasting much if the boys don’t like it, or costing too much either.
Ahh that’s brilliant!

I have some Ings Hay now that I have piggies again.
If you would like to try it I can send a small box for you.
Aww thank you, I’m just going to buy a small box as sometimes it can take a few days for my allergies to show (and them to decide if they like it!)

OK - just let me know if you want some from me.
Hopefully the boys will like it and you won’t have any allergies towards it.

Some new pics of the chaps, it’s a year on Tuesday since we lost Pepper pig which means it’s almost a year since we got Panko!
We are currently having a bit of change in the season squabbling but nothing major panko doesn’t have the stamina pepper had!
Hay situation is still not solved, they enjoyed the ings hay but after a few days my allergies got too much, I have done a mega clean under and behind the cage to make sure all traces of the Cotswold sweet that started this are gone and I’m hoping they will improve in the next few days, I have ordered some orchard hay because I know I’m not allergic to that I just pray Panko will eat it!
