Did have to give her a mini bum bath before putting her back in clean cage and her grease gland’s looking a bit grubby too, that’s a first with her. Wasn’t too impressed but spent the whole time licking my arm rather than trying to escape bless her, she’s such a special little piglet :luv:

I'm glad she's still acting normal, that's a good sign. Hopefully Simon will put your mind at ease. It is a nightmare to get there at the mo. I know we shouldn't have our favourites but we can't help it lol xx
 
Aw, poor little Jess, hope whatever it is can be easily sorted out. Looks like you’ll have a long wait, hope they will let you inside for the day x

She’s the last one of the little foursome with the chins and Rupert and having her from 7 weeks old doesn’t help, can't help that favouritism thing!
I’m hoping so but even when she had an eye full of blood and was in agony she still licked the vet to death! She’s a hardcore little madam! Everything crossed anyway! Thank you xx
 
Thanks @Bill & Ted, wondering whether to just come back to Rugby rather than wait for hours if it going to be a long one. Not sure, I’ll have to see what they say on phone Monday. They all know I have to mess about on trains after years of going with the chins so they’re always lovely about fitting me in and stuff x

At least from Monday shops will be open so if you wanted to stay in Northampton you could browse the shops to pass the time although I imagine the queues in some places will be mad xx

Oh yeah I forgot about that, cheers. I’m going to try and keep the worry head off and just give her a bit of extra munch and love this wknd, can’t do much about stuff atm so no point in stressing xx

Well she’s definitely bleeding more than she has in the past, I’ve found quite a few patches on the fleece when going in earlier where she's been (I presume) sitting and eating. Still active but looking a little uncomfortable when sitting have a few poos just now. And already needs another bum bath, thinking a trim too so she stays clean! :doh:
Still enjoying her veggies on the bed with mummy though :love:

Poor old Jess, glad she's still enjoying her veggies though! Healing wheeks and hugs and best of luck with the vet trip, she's definitely a fighter though and you are such a kind piggy mummy doing that long train trip to get her the best vet care x

Didn’t realise Simon was off on Mondays these days, so although I’d prefer her to see him if I can get an appt with Kim then I’d rather her be seen sooner rather than later in case it is an infection like before and not cysts. But they’re so busy I guess I’ll see what they say first thing!
 
I’ll be up extra early and ready to fly over if I need to, it’s just annoying with taxis and trains etc (I haven’t even been that close to someone in months either!) so will be up to travelling time as well which is a pain in the rear end.
She still seems ok, it’s definitely strange they all keep sleeping together though like I said?! First time ever that close when no food involved! Still doing it now, hoping just a mellow afternoon and not telling me something :no:

A bit worrying if I’m honest!
And the dirty grease gland was one of the strange things with Rupert in his last couple of months with us, all white, never had an issue then started getting really grubby, had nasty sperm rods etc. Hope she’s not giving me hints and they’re all just in a good mood after Aliona’s particularly hormonal season the last few days 🤞🤞Aargh, piggies.

Never heard them so quiet, it’s a bit odd ☹️She looks content in @Bill & Ted ’s little bed though so think she’s happy. Naps are the best when you’re her age! :))

Had a good scoff earlier and I’ll see if she fancies some mush later! Really gone off sweet potato and oats, a bit of a carrot sprinkle instead these days 😁Had her baby corn this morning. It’s great when you’re a spoilt OAP :D:))

Shame I couldn't collect her for you, I have a spare cage here. It's tiny but it'd do, then could have met you at train station or rugby station

Could always bring my Dotty in that cage and leave her with me at the station though!? :hmm::))

I think you'll get an emergency slot seems as she's bleeding. Theyleave so many available, just call on opening.

Thanks a lot, I’m just waiting for them to open now (feeling part zombie after barely any sleep!) so fingers crossed we’ll get in then.ACAF47A0-E4F6-4EB3-97BF-987AC6FDC6FA.webp She’s looking happy today anyway. She was out on the bed for an extra mushy meal (and a few treats) and nails and bum trim last night, then a nice snuggle.
Good old Jess and threw a wet and dirty protest, tucked in my dressing down! :doh: :))
