I just heard on the news that US company Mars are buying Hotel Chocolat - heaven knows what that will mean for their current way of doing things or the quality of the product - and especially the paper bags that Micah loves so much :hmm::hmm:

Huge company
I hope equally as good got to say man
Let’s hope fingers and toes all crossed it’ll be just the same maybe better maybe not
We’ll think positive they make dog and cat food too
 
honestly they are a good company dove chocolates are amazing and big on animals so it might look good for micah

Just seen this - hoping that Micah’s blood test results come back quickly and he can start whatever treatment he may need to maintain his manly appetites for a good time yet
 
Dear Aunty @Qualcast&Flymo , thank you very much for our new paper bags.
We will be very excited when our slave gives us one.
We are working very hard to trash the bag in our cage so we can have a new one.
Our daddy slave is very pleased with his jar of gooseberry jam too, he says thank you.

The vet phoned and the good news is Micah’s blood tests are all fine.
The bad news is we still have no idea why he’s losing weight.

He goes in on Thursday for a proper dental exam and treatment if needed.
They will also check his bladder while he’s under.
Vet said it may be arthritis, possibly in his jaw, but that’s just a possibility.

Micah enthusiastically chased Ruth around the cage yesterday, he was climbing the bars to get at the food and happily stuffed himself with hay and veggies.
I hope something can be found to explain the weight loss.
Whatever it is, I want it too !
 
I’m beginning to think it’s something dental with Micah.
He’s been rejecting carrot slices and pea flakes which are quite hard.
Last night I thought I’d try some grated carrot with oats - 2 piggies head butting each other to get at them. Same happened this evening.
He’s so bright, bouncy and happy I almost feel guilty at taking him to the vet on Thursday.
