Jaw lump

Thankyou everyone 💓 I'm very tired but relieved to see she's perky today 😄 still can't get over how good she's being taking all these meds! She particularly hates baytril and emeprid though 😷 she's also doing amazingly with recovery food 💗
Current med regime is:
Baytril 0.5 twice daily
Emeprid 0.5 twice daily
Cisapride 0.1 3x daily
Paracetamol 0.2 twice daily
Metacam (dog) 1ml twice daily
Fibreplex 2h after baytril
Flush with 4 syringes of dilute hibiscrub and one of saline 3 x a day

Aw, that’s a lot of meds, poor Mal. Hope she picks up now. It’s looks healthier than before. Hope the AB’s clear up that infection :hug: You must be totally exhausted, try get some sleep x

Everything went great at the vets thankyou, very happy with her progress, it doesn't smell anymore so that should mean the baytril is working (I'm impressed!) but we will know for sure when the lab results come back whether we need to add in any additional meds, she's eating and regaining weight. Vet says we've done wonderful at flushing and showed us how to get the dried pus out with a cotton bud, says he's happy for us to do this at home alongside the flushing since we seem to know what we are doing 💗 it keeps producing pus but that's to be expected and we just need to keep it open and clean so it can heal from the inside out now and the meds can take effect 🤗 all very positive! Vet will contact us with test results when he gets them and we have to email a photograph on Friday :) makes the exhaustion so worth it 💗

Thankyou 💗 poor baby is down to 770g so we are hitting it hard now! It has just exploded pus onto me.
Zithromax 0.75ml once daily
Metronidazole 1ml daily
Baytril 0.5ml twice daily
Ophtocycline directly into the cavity after each flush
Paracetamol 0.2ml twice daily
Metacam (dog) 1ml twice daily
Emeprid 0.5ml twice daily
Cisapride 0.1ml twice daily
Back on 2h syringe feeds
Her incisors are starting to slant and shes in a lot of pain. Crossing absolutely everything she pulls through. If this doesn't work we have doxycycline and gentacin beads as options.
Come on mal 😩 💪
