Eriathwens piggies

The piggies seem to be enjoying the flavoured water, I made them nettle and rosehip to start with. I'm enjoying it a lot less because I keep forgetting and freaking out that there's a filthy water bottle 😅

Mabel joined the big herd today, I'd gone back and forth on where I was going to put her but ultimately, the big herd had the most pigs likely to let her cuddle up to them, Dylans herd would have taken it as a threat, my main concern was Fern as she has ovarian cysts but she has taken to her lovely as well. I'm assuming as Mabel is spayed she isnt really a target.

Panda, Pumpkin, Fern, Delilah and Cherry have been spending lots of time with her and allowing her to huddle up to make up for the week alone since losing Ebony.

Aw bless ‘them! Pearl is so     I don’t know what it is with white piggies but they are simply gorgeous!

🎉 ❤️ congratulations and well done Ivy. I’m so glad it went well for her, and you! She must be feeling much better and you must be relieved. The pups are gorgeous of course.

What a treat to see Popcorn ‘in action ‘ thank you
They are just gorgeous babies and well done Ivy you are a 🌟mummy

Lawd these pigs 🤣

So I'm sitting with the piggies, waiting for Oliver to pee as he was straining on Monday and had been put on Metacam (he's peeing fine now but still getting him checked Friday when Fern has an appointment) and Amber keeps coming up to the front of the cage reaching up, usually this means she wants a kiss so I'm giving her kisses and she gets down, sneezes a few times and comes back, we repeat this a few times until I realise this is more than just sneezing or dust up her nose as her nose is now wet.

So I pull her out and can see a tiny piece of hay sticking out the left nostril. I pull out a thin piece but hear a snap, obviously left something behind, luckily there's still a bit sticking out for my nails to grip and, to my amazement, the biggest bloody grass seed comes out!

She sat as good as gold while I did it, too. And let me give her lots of kisses for being a good girl, no way she wasn't asking for help 😅 makes my nose hurt just looking at it 😱

Ouch !
Well done getting that out without being bitten

Poor girl! That's the same size of grass seed that was hidden behind Thea's eyeball for 4 months!

Ouch! Poor Thea, fancy hiding one there 😱

I went out earlier to collect a new bottle of metacam and while out, picked up a little hamster bottle for the babies to have access to water, it took them maybe an hour to figure out how to use it! They're so smart 😁 Ivy is a bit miffed it's too low for her to drink from though bless her.
