I'm glad he is feeling better,Silver you are scrumptious !
I am sorry they are getting those sores. Red had sores like that last year, he kept pawing at his mouth as well. The vet checked his teeth twice in 3 days as I was convinced there was a problem in his mouth. The vet was looking at his teeth through the instrument they use and not at the front gum line! I got my partner to hold him while I looked and I found food wrapped round the base of the top front teeth! Once cleaned the sores healed up. 2 weeks later they were back and I found five pieces of hay wound round the bottom teeth. He's been fine since. I hope Silver and Forest get better soon.
Hove it goes well for their vet trip, it could well be trapped food that’s causing the sores around their mouths. As the teeth aren’t self cleaning die to their wonky shape. Would a cotton bud help the clean around the gums at the front?
Little moneys! I can just imagine them trying to chomp away on an ear budIf I can find some really robust ones they likely would! They're a nightmare for grabbing and chewing anything that goes near their mouths though the ones I have atm are a bit cheap and flimsy so I haven't dared try incase they eat them
Aw, she knows she’s safe with you, how lovelyWell, clearly Mabel considers me 'safe' these days. Something spooked her, and she turns and bolted straight to me, very glad she didn't end up running off the sofa!
She was so fast she even scared me! But I'm so glad she likes me now
