Hello Guys.
Just a little update.
Oh great I'm off to vets again wed 5.40. See my slaves are going away for a week soon and they very very worried about me so gettin me M.O.T. tommorow. Might get result from another test.
They are makin a plan in case i get ill when they are away.
And it could involve @Flutterby and whilst I'm on here I want to say how sorry one of our friends Paris has gone to the bridge. Me Heidi and Chloe say thanks Ruth for being a great slave and we love you. x
What a little sneaky thing Heidi is!Pity on you Heidi cos when Cocoa came back, it would have been nice to greet Cocoa before stealing her coriander treats straight away![]()
Oh Dave.... I feel sorry for you. Never mind Dale will be on her way to you tomorrow so you will have her by early next week.@Hoppity.K gave all lots tlc except me but lol that's ok.
Thank you . Yes it is very frustating and Kaths up date will tell us what next step is. We will post photos of her mouth also. Cocoas not Kaths. So sorry that you are still left with no results. It can be soooo frustating, can't it?
All the best for your gorgeous lady nevertheless!
Well doneView attachment 87300Cocoa has been so brave. Her best friend Heidi has been keeping a close watch on her since she came back.... such love
Cocoa’s had a pedicure (she just puts her paws out & allows them to be cut), a weigh (she’s a good weight... 1102g & her chest is clear.) But her mouth is worse than it was & now this vet is unsure what to do. This vet has admitted that Cocoa needs more specialist help.
We gonna need very specialist treatment. This vet has prescribed metacam (0.5mg/ml for cats) & to give 0.4ml once a day as a precaution (we’ve been there before)
So we stumped... any advice greatly appreciated. We’ve got a whole print out of all tests she’s had done... All negative.
She’s such a gorgeous loving piggy who lives so happily with her other 2 girly friends![]()
Yes it's been mentioned and we have not ignored it.I think it has been mentioned before, but have you considered going to Kim Maddock? she is wonderful with cases that seem a bit out of the ordinary and so good at explaining things too. My newbie is seeing her next week.
Thank you very much. I'm emotional cos I want my girl fixed.I'm sorry to add so late as I missed this thread before but adding thoughts healing vibes along with the others. Poor Cocoa seems to really be going through the ringer along with her very loving piggy parents. Very sorry to hear of the stress and worry to all there.
What a wonderful group of people surrounding you and your area-it's just very uplifting in a day to read about so many exceptional and caring people. It's really heartwarming to hear of all the support on and off this forum.
Hugs to little Cocoa and your piggy family.
That's good to know. X.Cocoa sends herPoor little madame! Sending lots of hugs to you all. I think a trip to Simon would be handy, or Ashliegh vets in manchester has a very good rep with piggies too, they have their own small animal/exotics clinic.
