Specialist Cocoa Poorly Lip And Congested. Pls Help. Photos

Dear Cocoa

I went to see Aunty Rachel (who has now left the vets:soz:) to have a nasty lump removed from my tummy. I felt funny afterwards and the lump wasn't there anymore. My slave had to syringe feed me for a bit but I didn't mind as I liked the taste and it saved me from bothering to eat myself! I was given minty tasting medicine to get my tummy to work properly and then I felt hungry again and started to eat. 3 weeks later I think I am all better again but I am on 3 different medicines and Pro-C. I'm going to see Uncle Mark (not sure about him!:hmm:) on Friday to see if he thinks I'm all better.

I'm sure you'll be fine at the vets. You are only having a small procedure done.

Love from
Christian
Ahhh... does that mean we both at the vets on Friday then Christian?
We both need to be brave little piggies x
Love Cocoa x

PS I hope you find out what is causing your poorly lip and I hope Uncle Mark says I'm all better! I'll let you know on my thread.

I'm so glad things are moving forward for you little Cocoa, fingers crossed the biopsy shows something they can sort for you! Now get to pooping little madame and stop worrying your lovely slaves! Sending lots of healing vibes xx

I’m sure Cocoa did it on purpose to worry us even more today, cos by 8 o clock tonight she was a little poop machine, and hasn’t needed her new medicine. She’s eaten loads of veggies for tea too. x

Oh Cocoa you do like to cause everyone to worry about you. I know its just because you love all the fuss and attention. Hope that everything goes well for you on Friday little girl. We will all keep our paws crossed here for you.

Poor Cocoa, that lip looks very poorly. Good luck at the vets on Friday, we will all have our fingers/paws crossed for you.
Be brave, hopefully the nice vet will make you all better. :luv:

Poor cocoa, that looks sore little girl. Pleased to hear you still have high spirits and are not letting it bother you. Fingers crossed for Friday xx

That looks very unpleasant. Has it got worse? I hope you can get it sorted soon. Has she had a course of itrafungal?
no but 3 vets have said it's not fungal and i be very very cross if it turns out to be after what could be a pointless biopsy. She's having xray as well as the poor thing is on her back legs walkin on her joints xx

Cocoa is lovely. 1st to squeek lol. Can Cocoa have breakfast I should have asked.

Yes, as they can’t vomit, piggies don’t need to have an empty stomach for GA. So you feed them as normal and the vets will give her hay when she’s there to munch on, it’s a good idea to send a little packed lunch for her for when she comes round again - I usually send a little selection of veggie strips in a sandwich bag as a treat for mine.

It looks exactly like a fungal issue one of the TEAS piggies had last year. We didn't get biopsies done, as vet diagnosed by just looking at it and prescribed itrafungal and Zithromax which cleared it up quickly. I really hope you get to the bottom of what's going on here.

It's me again Cocoa. I'm at the vets and I've heard I'm going for a sleep soon but that's a bit silly because I sleep all time.
Silly Daddy got all tearie when he left me at here.
I'm not sure if it was cos he gave me a massive hug or he saw the bill . :yikes:
See you all l8tr.
