Was his breeder local to you? My husband keeps saying that Doug needs a friend but I'm still torn. I've looked on the KC website but not finding anyone near to me. Also not sure if I would like another border but love the breed.

He was from Kidderminster. So not too far. I can PM you her details if you like. Also her neighbour was a Border breeder. They may have a litter in the pipeline so to speak.

He definitely has. It gave me a chance to sit on MY chair that he usually steals.
You’ll always find the dog hogging the heat source. Glad you get to sit in your own chair, though
Just updating the thread. Chester has had two episodes of not walking since being on a gluten free diet. They seem to be of a shorter duration though. So that’s a plus.

Good to see that perhaps the diet is having an effect but still not good for you or him that he's having the episodes.
Fingers crossed they continue to be short and less frequent. X

Over Christmas we moved Chester’s toy box into the spare room so we could get more people around the dining room table.

Took me a moment to see him in that first pic.
I feel sad that I’ve not been able to pick Chester up since my back operation in January. 
He’s fine though and we are having lots of play time with me sitting on a chair.
