Hope Chester is recovering well

Awwww they are so sweet. Even the trouble maker.

Chester is refusing to pee or poop. He’s eating and drinking so it’s going to have to come out soon.

Vets said not to worry until later this afternoon and call them if nothing appears.

Fingers crossed here that he can't hold it in for much longer. What a worry he is being for you at the moment, sending you hugs.

He’s pooped too. Luckily we live two doors away from my lovely mother in law. So we took Chester for a “walk” to her garden and he did it.

He’s good. Thank you. Nearly back to his normal self. Not so playful yet but getting there. He’s got a check up tomorrow so fingers crossed he gets the all clear.

How was Chester's check up?

It went well. She was happy with one cut but the one on his tummy is very bumpy. She thought it was a little hernia but decided it’s not. Just badly stitched together

That's frustrating, maybe it will settle as it heals more? At least he is ok and it's better that they found it and removed it in the long term.

So Chester’s friend Ruby came over to play yesterday. They haven’t seen each other for a while as Chester was neutered, then my son moved into his new home and then she was spayed.

So anyway it went really well. Chester loved play fighting and Ruby loved his sandpit.

This is them sitting nicely for a treat.





But then Ruby wanted another

Chester is off to the vets this evening. He has a sore paw. We’ve been bathing it in salt water for a few days but it’s not getting any better. There was puss there this morning. Maybe he has a grass seed in it.
