So in terms of visiting over Christmas? Obviously everything will shut down, and walks on the front/beach can entertain me... would any one say try it. 4 nights at seaside over Christmas?
The sea and beaches have a very calming effect on me. I live about a mile from the sea, I love it all year round. Go for it 😊

🎄 After speaking with my Solicitors I've knocked together this non offensive seasonal greeting to all of my friends
Please accept with no obligation, implied or otherwise, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress , non addictive, gender neutral celebration of the solstice holiday practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all .
I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2024... but not without due respect for the calendar of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great (not to imply that Britain is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee .

I was, I spent my last 12 months in the army based in Fallingbostel between Hamburg and Hannover. 👍

Had a very busy night shift. multiple crashes all over the place, rain came that hard, I expected Noah to overtake me in the ark! Sky lit up for over 10 minutes with spectacular forked lightning ⚡⚡⚡ nearly 400 miles covered in one shift and nearly 6000 steps which is unheard of nights. For an 8 hour shift which was supposed to finish at 10pm last night, our 2 late patrols finished at 2.45am and 5.45am! 😱😱😱

Wow what a busy night. Hope everyone involved in the accidents are ok.

It has it's moments, thankfully I'm trauma management trained from nearly 40 years as a first aider/advanced first aider - team medic/first aid trainer/community first responder. So I'm fairly level headed when it comes to dealing with trauma. 👍
