Thankyou all for coming to brum, I think you all had a good time!? :) Let's do it all over again soon! :D

Thanks so much for the photo's @Tim... You definitely captured the day.. x

I'll have a rummage in a bit. Cat, I messaged you with one of you smiling :) but everyone else was looking in opposite directions

I get the feeling someone has been fettling about with my wording, BossHogg! :))

I am sorry I could not make the meet-up this time round, but hope to come to one in the future. It sounds as if a good time was had by all:yahoo:.
Yeah I was kinda hoping you'd come so I could meet you. We are linked by Dylan and Sherman for life Lol xx

Thanks Tim!
At first I thought a few people had middle fingers up :yikes: now I see! They were calling Ross! Haha.

Yes I think its a difficult one balancing somewhere suitable with good access by train and car! Chapeltown sounds interesting and while that's fine with me (I'm north of Birmingham anyway but will take me twice as long and cost twice as much to get there) I wonder whether its feasible for the people living more south that usually come into Birmingham. Maybe some people further south can give their thoughts.

VickiA also suggested we could meet at Kidsgove at The Potteries function that they have towards the end of the year.

I think part of the attraction of Birmingham and perhaps why it's so well attended is that it's fairly central and easily accessible by rail and road. I know that other meet ups do happen elsewhere in the country too. Christmas meet ups can be tricky as venues book out early and many people have non forum social events and Xmas shopping on in the build up to Christmas. @The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue usually hold the animals fundraising fair in Kidsgrove mid November, and it's well attended and fun but Kidsgrove isn't the easiest place for people to get to, so may not work as an official meet up although many of us will be there supporting.
In summary, whenever and wherever it takes place it won't suit everyone so I think we just have to cater to the majority

Any forum meet needs to be in a place that is fairly central and easily accessible by car as well as by public transport links.

A number of us also attend Cavy Corner dos in Doncaster (which are generally always good fun). I would like to avoid another clash like the one on Saturday (not the forum's fault, by the way). They had another do at the end of November last year.
