I've looked at the weather forecast for Tintagel next week. Rain, rain and more rain and the occasional thunderstorm just for fun! Let's hope it's wrong! I've got @BossHogg's great grandaughter's cardigan to finish and 10 books on my Kindle so hopefully I won't get bored!

Thanks. We had an impromptu stop overnight near Bridport as the front car tyre found a nail which punctured it. £300 later and we have 2 new front tyres and we back en route to Tintagel.

Sorry to hear about the puncture, so annoying. OH picked up a nail on the M5 coming home when he took me to Wales the other week. The really annoying thing about it was I'd have gone by train if there'd been any but rail services were suspended due to maintenance, he was doing me a favour so I could see my family.

I stayed at and visited Tintagel years ago when I was young free and single still. It is very striking and awe-inspiring especially when the waves are crashing against the cliffs ...

Thea came back from Aunty Lilli's weighing a little less than I would have liked (Lilli did mention it when I picked up the girlies yesterday) at 810g (she is normally around 870-890g) so the syringe food came out. She will NOT eat it from the bowl. So the diva has it syringe fed. When I put the stuff that she hasn't eaten in the hutch she will quite happily copy Bramble and Misty and eat it from the bowl! But when she is out on the table she has to have it syringed in her gob.

Misty had to have a bum bath today as she quite happily sat in wee in a fleece hidey all night and got soggy, stinky and very tangled. She was a good girl. Only nipping my neck a tiny bit to complain. She let me wash her stinky botbot, dry it with a towel and the hair dryer and kept still the whole time. When Misty is frightened she freezes and doesn't move. I was talking to her the whole time and telling her what I was doing. She got some Coriander for being such a brave girl. Now she smells of Gorgeous Guineas Posh&Go. She'll have a bum trim in the next couple of days. I'm soooooo out of practice in doing the very fashionable wedge cut that The Ever Beautiful Betsy had. I'll attempt it on Misty and hope it'll be better than the hack job she had last time!
