Thea always seems to lose a bit of weight when she goes to Lilli's I think it's the stress of going to somewhere else (even though she's used to it and stays there a lot) at her great age of 7 years and 10 months. She puts it back on again after a week or so back home.

Thea now weighs 903g. This has been achieved after 3 days of syringe food twice a day. She is her normal happy self. I just think it was the stress of being away from home for 2 weeks at her advanced age.

Thank you so so much all at Piggie Parcels @Guineautopia for delivering the Piggie Pellets so quickly! You have saved me the wrath of Miss Bramble and also saved her the task of writing to herself complaining about the inadequacies of her Slave.

I was low on pellets before we went on the cruise but didn't want a delivery sitting on the doorstep while I was away for a fortnight. I ordered them as soon as I got back on Saturday and I used the last 3 tablespoons this morning. Fortunately, the box containing the pellets arrived this afternoon along with extra forage for them. Phew! That was close.

Glad to hear Thea has put the weight back on. All my girls put weight on when they are away, Hector looses it. I think it’s because he gets so excited by all the other piggies (especially the girlies at the rescue) The puts it back on after a week or so

Ahhh no problem. I’ve managed to give myself some kind of repetitive strain injury from bagging too many pellets this week I’ve had to take the day off from them today!

Thank you. Unfortunately I’ve had a few accidents with that wrist this year, so it’s taken a bit of a battering! And now seems to be a bit delicate. X

I wondered why Miss Bramble didn't want me to take her out of the hutch this morning to give her cuddles and combs. I soon found out. She had hidden loads of stuff in her considerable winter floof for later. I found lots of hay, hay seed, seed heads, poops and forage. She clearly resented me taking and combing all these treasures out of her fur as she kept complaining, kicking her back legs and killing my piggie apron with her teeth and then she decided to wee on my piggie apron which is now in the washing machine. I couldn't groom her as well as I normally do as it was obvious she really didn't want me to carry on. Hopefully tomorrow, I can get in a good grooming session with her.

Dear Minnou

I am very happy that a bit of my floof has been cut away. The morning ordeal (groom) was getting very painful even though Slave did it as gently as she could. Now it won't be painful anymore. I would just like to say, for the record, that I refused to eat the yummy bowl of Science Selective Recovery Plus that Slave made up especially for me as I wanted to show her that I was at the Ironing Board Salon under duress. I know Slave will pop it in the hutch later and I can inhale it then.
