Visco Tears is what my optician recommends for eyes. I second Aveeno and Vaseline, also Blistease is good for lips.
That's not good. Try Aveeno daily moisturising lotion for your hands and just plain old vaseline for your lips. There are eyedrops you can get for dry eyes but I can't remember the name of them I think its an Optrex one. Nothing I can do for your bladder!

Oh gosh I really understand this - I was struggling to find a companion for Geoff when Bobby died. It took me 4 wks. We've been trying to look for a companion for Bodie, but rescues seem to be not responding as soon as we'd like. Hubby has contacted 3 rescues in the last week, inquiring about the piggies they have for adoption in their websites, and no one has replied yet. Bodie has been alone for 2 weeks now. While he is doing okay, he isn't having any interaction with another piggy for quite some time now, even before Bryce passed away.
Hubby did find some boars in different rescues. We are fine travelling far so he managed to find quite a few boars for adoption. But these rescues have not replied yet to all the emails/inquiries that hubby sent them. Fingers crossed we can get some replies soon. We don't want Bodie to be alone for longer than he has to, especially when rescues usually close their doors during the Christmas season.Oh gosh I really understand this - I was struggling to find a companion for Geoff when Bobby died. There seems to be no single male piggies available - all the local rescues had pairs or sows. Luckily for Geoff the first piggy he was bonded with worked out ! Good luck and I’m sending love and really hope you can find Bodie a friend
All that effort was worth it- looks amazing. Can you pop a bit in the post please?I went to make some millionaires shortbread but hubby said he wanted to do it. I dug out the very detailed recipe card that I had written and handed it to him. First he wasn't going to weigh the butter. Then he was weighing the sugar on a plate, why use a plate? The sugar looked much less than usual and I then discovered that he put the plate on the scales without zeroing. Got this all sorted with the butter and sugar in the mixer then 30 seconds later he switched off the mixer and was asking about the best method to add the flour. I checked and explained about the mix needing to look pale and fluffy like I had written. I told him to line the tin while it was finishing off. A few minutes later he asked me about the air fryer setting, I then saw that he had filled the unlined tin. Obviously it had to come out and be redone.
I didn't even consider letting him make the caramel after envisioning third degree burns but he did melt the chocolate. Honestly it's like baking with a small child and is less effort to do it myself.
It does taste good though!View attachment 260994
Oh that’s a shame.I got a very nice dress from a charity shop earlier for my works Christmas do.Its a casino royale theme and I was chancing it by buying a size 6(I'm an 8) but it won't do up all the way,I'm hoping my mum can think of something to fasten it above where the zip does up to or it has to go back.
Can you add an open ended zip up the back to the one already there? Should expand it the width of the zip that way.. hopefully be enough to do it up all the way?xxI got a very nice dress from a charity shop earlier for my works Christmas do.Its a casino royale theme and I was chancing it by buying a size 6(I'm an 8) but it won't do up all the way,I'm hoping my mum can think of something to fasten it above where the zip does up to or it has to go back.
Thanks for the tip Andrea,do you think that will work?I think I'm just too fat to fit into that dress lol xxCan you add an open ended zip up the back to the one already there? Should expand it the width of the zip that way.. hopefully be enough to do it up all the way?xx

Thanks Andrea I'll take a look. One dress I did like but I prefer the one I bought xxThis kind of thing- 'corset loops' could work with a colour coordinated ribbon as back lacing, I found these on Etsy but I expect they could be found cheaper elsewhere if it's what you're looking for?
The last photo shows the effect the loops give to the dress

Unless your supervisor found you something suitable? :-D xx
Gosh I’m so sorry to read that @Gem789 - that is outrageous ! I hope you didn’t pay for it !Had our works Christmas lunch today,I never look forward to it as I'm so fussy with food and last year they gave me a plate with turkey on it.I'm a vegetarian so when a lady came over with the meat version, they took it away after being told again I was vegetarian. The thing that annoyed me the most was I didn't get any vegetarian gravy on my food, they put tomato soup over all of it.I ate the mushroom and spinach pie but left most of the rest.
No,it was free luckily but I couldn't believe they didn't have any vegetarian gravy.Thats just mad especially at that price.Gosh I’m so sorry to read that @Gem789 - that is outrageous ! I hope you didn’t pay for it !
I’m a vegetarian too and I get so fed up with macaroni cheese being offered as the veggie choice at a cost of £15 !
I'm only just going to bed ... but I have night owl tendencies. I really ought to be in bed by midnight thoughI’m wide awake and it’s 12.41am!
