The lie in didn’t last long. One day was good. But at least I didn’t wake at 6 today 🤣🤔 actually was partially woken by the girls. That’s another thing, once I hear them talking I can’t go back to sleep. They’re not super loud but they’re not exactly whispering either. Time to get up I guess.

You poor thing! I remember being passed my due date with Son No 2. It's awful. You can't move easily, you feel like a beached whale, you get grumpy and you've just had enough. Hopefully not much longer now ......

You poor thing. I was 10 days over with both my pregnancies and had to be induced. Those 10 days were longggggg. Hopefully he will be here very soon. 👶

We were sent for an urgent growth scan just over a week ago and he was so low that the bump measurements had dropped too low. Even the sonographer asked if I had had any contractions so we just thought he would be here by now 🤣

I was just talking about my eyebrows last night and how unruly they are anymore and I really don’t want to put out the $50 or more to get them done professionally

When my daughter was like 6 months I took her to swimming lessons and once she started crying or showed any signs of fear the instructor stopped and would try to encourage her to want to do it, scaring a child is only going to make things worse, poor kid will probably have a fear of swimming now

How can a supermarket have no whole milk 🥛?

Jeepers the semi skimmed is mildly close to whole milk, but skimmed milk is like buying pints of cloudy water in comparison to whole milk!

That's all of the milk being returned & that was the majority of the reason for doing an online order!


@Homestead Mom I'd definitely report it. The poor kid will probably end up petrified of water! I was on swimming lessons as a child and went under the water choking & nearly drowning, the instructor was close enough to rescue me.
But as a result I'm terrified of watery areas - Pools, sea, lakes, rivers, etc. I can't even walk onto a pier or bridge without breaking into a heart racing sweat!
Poor kid doesn't need to suffer & miss out on water fun/safety because of a jerk instructor!
I'd be raging if that was my child!

I can’t stand skim it’s like putting water in your milk, I’ve actually just recently started buying oat milk bc my kids and the hubby are lactose intolerant

One of the waitresses said to try eyebrow glue and I did and it did nothing, so that was a waste $13, the price of makeup now a days is crazy thank god I don’t wear it I’d be broke, I just gifted the eyebrow glue to the waitress and my eyebrows are still crazy, oh well 😂

We went to a park yesterday so wondering around while Jessica tired herself out. This morning we wondered up and down the local park to walk the dog and try and get things moving. If I drink any more raspberry leaf tea he'll be shooting across the room when he finally makes an appearance

Yeah, “that” activity works. It has other benefits too.
 
I didn’t mean that activity! I meant castor oil 🙊 😝 I used with my last. It didn’t give me the runs, which I think is meant to somehow trigger the contractions. But my labour was shorter…she couldn’t wait to get to hospital. Then again I didn’t want to move off the bed 🤣🤔

I am not a teenager but I have a 15 year old daughter and sometimes more than others I am very concerned about the future, I mean they weren’t taught cursive, no home economics class anymore so they don’t know cooking cleaning sewing laundry and the attitudes are the worst I mean most teenagers have angst but I don’t remember being as bad and spoiled as they are now a days, I live in a resort town and teens are not allowed to have book bags on the boardwalk and some places have curfews bc they start riots and just this Independence Day a teen stabbed another and another was caught with a gun in his bookbag and they just come in and trash everything and believe it’s for others to fix bc their parents have money and they want for nothing nor have to do anything for themselves at home, but like you said not all teenagers are this way but not many either, it’s definitely different times from when I was that age

I’m a little stressed about packing for our hol. I haven’t done this in a long time (2015) and the children were younger then! Packing for the youngest is pretty much done. Most of mine is done but I can’t really pack for the other two yet as they wear their clothes in the week. It’ll be okay, long as I have the meds and passports 😵‍💫

I also need to make enough food Monday for seconds and packed lunch (2) for my son. There are Vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options but I worry about there being soya in there. You also can’t have gluten free with vegetarian.

Lastly, I dreamt that I had opened the hutch door to find Toffee and another piggy laid next to each other in their forever sleep with a third piggy in there I don’t know. I’m now scared to check and find Toffee in his forever sleep 😵‍💫

I’ll check on them before I shower. Hopefully all is well.
 
It's July and I have to have the lights on in the house even if the blinds are open, it's that dark. Also I have a swollen nostril. Externally, it's not affecting my breathing, but it is driving me insane.
 
Is there a spot on it, did something bite you or did you scratch it too much? Hopefully it goes down.

I agree re lights. I don’t have them on at the moment but the children have had to put them on sometimes. Fed up of this dull weather! 🧐
 
I think it's a cyst. There's no angry redness or heat to it that would imply pus (so no abscess, spot or other infection), I think I just have to wait it out. It's awkward though. Catches every time I have to scratch my nose or blow it or anything, lol.
 
New phone has eaten all of my mobile data because everything was turned on to use mobile data in the background and I didn't know this. My new bundle doesn't start for 20 days... looks like an extremely boring bus commute for a while!
 
Can you bring it forward by any chance? Who are you with?
 
Argh I have checked everywhere. Desk, shelves, bookcase, desk drawers, desk shelves, floor, tv cabinet, windowsill, trays, bags. Bathroom sink, bath, cistern lid. Bed, windowsill, boxes, bedside cabinet, drawers. Sofa, kitchen worktop, kitchen cupboards. A tube of germolene can't just disappear into thin air but of course, I need the damn thing so it has. I can't afford to keep buying new tubes. HOW.
 
I shouldn't laugh, but it's no wonder you couldn't find it! I broke the WiFi card on my PC the other day and had to hunt down an ethernet cable and a pair of PoE connectors because I wasn't lugging the PC down to the living room just for the internet. I remember saying to my dad afterwards the biggest surprise of the night was finding exactly what I needed, exactly where it should be, within 5 minutes of looking. Even if they were the slower, older versions they still did what I needed them to do.

Just don't ask me where the downstairs scissors are because those went missing weeks ago.
 
I knew a guy who put his car keys in the freezer once. Took a bit of hunting to find, and a lot of laughter on our part afterwards. Then a week later his keys were missing and he was adamant he wouldn't have put them in the freezer again. Adamant...but wrong. My keyrings are in the kitchen. My actual front door key is in my pocket, I took it off my keys to give to Ashleigh to feed the goblins, and never put it back on.
