Wordle - what is it?

:yikes: had to Google it to find out what it meant!
Not an everyday word in my vocabulary! Some random guesswork for this bear of little brain again!
Didn't like that!

Anyone else think it’s got more challenging since NYT took over ownership?
Yes I'm not sure if its the NYT thing or if I'm just getting wordle fatigue... but NYT have edited down their possible word list to avoid offending any snowflakes apparently and as such have also removed some inoffensive words that are actually words in the dictionary- hence today's swearing at it, I entered a word which was a real word but... NYT computer says no lol!

yes, I understand the word β€œslave” has been taken out so as not to offend, sadly slavery has been documented from Roman times and before but I’m not sure editing the English Language is the correct way to go, we need to learn from history, but that’s something humans don’t seem to be able to do

Yay! I got it! But it is not in my normal vocabulary. @VickiA I agree it is harder! Part of my wants to blame my dyslexia on struggling so hard, but I do use a dictionary to help me with spelling so I don't make up a word. The other part is just like, it's because you don't know that many words!

That word was a mind boggler! 🀯 I gave up :))

While thinking about waking up I decided on two words containing completely different letters (not how I usually solve it) and today that gave me all 5 letters and just left me an easy anagram!
That’s a tactic I’ve been trying recently - 2 words with completely different letters to help identify or exclude letters. It’s not been working too well for me to be honest but I will persist.
