I suffer from a form of number blindness, confronted by numbers I switch off. I wish I'd known when I was at school, it has a name, it's an isum, or itis, ia or something. The excuses for not being able to do the work would have sounded so much better. Sadly in those days you were just branded stupid and had to get on with it. I was in my 60s before I found out I wasn't alone, it is a thing!Same here!

My son has Dyscalculia as well a dyslexia, he struggles with numbers and even at 15 still struggles to tell the time, has no idea about how long things take, has problems processing things like instructions, I fear passing his maths GCSE might not be achievable.Dyscalcula
I'm sorry he struggles so much. I didn't take maths exams, it was CSE in my day, you had to have a certain level in class to be allowed to take it and I wasn't allowed to try. I was lucky I was good at English and History though. My son has Dyscalculia as well a dyslexia, he struggles with numbers and even at 15 still struggles to tell the time, has no idea about how long things take, has problems processing things like instructions, I fear passing his maths GCSE might not be achievable.
