5 degrees and bright sunshine in West Cumbria.

Why is it never like that when i'm visiting. It was grey and damp last week when i was there.

Waiting for the snow to move north- was 3C with bright sunshine first thing, now its 1C and grey, the forecast says we'll get sleet or snow this afternoon...
Its 12C in my kitchen where I'm waiting for my shopping delivery, much warmer for the piggies upstairs who have their electric oil filled radiator on!
Warmest seat in the house is underneath Hilda sheltie pig who doesnt think its cold at all lol.

I've just driven from Melton Mowbray to Hinckley to visit my father-in-law in hospital - it was snowing in Melton but not settling, however there's a good covering on the ground in Hinckley and it's coming down steadily. Don't like it, too cold...
