Who’s got snow? 🥶

Woke up to snow this morning which is just something else to stress about 😞 My husband has to drive over the Moore’s to get to work and I worry. I’m meant to be going to my parents house for dinner but I don’t know whether to cancel so my dad doesn’t have to get the car out (he comes and picks me up) Hubby said it will hopefully melt today as it’s going to be milder at 3 degrees. I hope so as my parents take me food shopping on a Thursday and I worry about them walking on the snow / ice as they both have mobility problems 😞

Snow has finally arrived here - it's pretty light but supposed to continue all day.
I was rushing around worrying about the rabbits (our old boy is almost 8) and adding more snuggles safes to the hutch etc only to turn around and see them out playing in the snow on the lawn

How lovely, grab a photo if you can 😊

Very heavy frost again but no snow. All surfaces very icy, hoping the lovely bright sunshine will melt the ice on the path soon.

We’ve had sleet this afternoon, bitterly cold wind and stormy seas

Still got nothing in Leicester but frost 😂 luckily my husband is a superstar who has been out and deiced my car the last two mornings while I negotiate terms with a 2 year old to get her fed, dressed and off to nursery 🤣

I thought we'd been having heavy frosts until this morning, todays frost was heavy! We also have freezing fog. It reminds me of the winter mornings we had when I was a child and the cold but pretty walks to school. Jack Frost used to make his beautiful patterns on the inside of our bedroom windows. No central heating in the old houses in those days, just a coal fire in one downstairs room. We used to get washed and dressed in this room off the kitchen, washing with some water from the kettle as the electric heater was only used a couple of times a week for baths. It's funny how I moan about how cold and draughty this house is, as a child I would have thought it was luxury.
