What made you happy today?

I went on a magical mystery bus trip! Fortunately I didn’t get lost & met some extra special TEAS piggies, at their Halloween event.

I wonder whether I saw you there and just didn't know who you were.I saw the piggies in the run.

Perhaps! I don’t know- I was by myself, I said hello to Karen from Hop, Skip & Bunk, who our boys have boarded with this year. I didn’t stay till the end. Maybe another time- my bus trip was surprisingly easy.

I was wearing a light grey puffer jacket. Is that the lady who had the stall with the guinea pig prints and miniature guinea pigs?

No, she was running a stall near by with photos of rescue pigs and bunnies on. I think the lady with the miniature pigs is going to be our new boarding place.
We will have to make a plan next time too look out for each other.

Oh I know that stall,I didn't realise they did boarding too. They have such sad stories of the animals they've taken in.That lady was very nice and friendly so I'm sure your piggies will be in good hands. Yes,that sounds like a good idea 🙂

I managed to get out, to the chemist, get my Covid & flu jabs, and get home. No panic attacks! No anxiety attacks! No nothing. Okay, a tiny bit of confusion when I was asked why I'm entitled to one because it's been 3 years since I was in the shielding group and still nobody seems to know why, but I keep getting called for them. I can prove that for Covid (I get reminders by text). I normally get a letter for the flu jab and that hasn't happened yet but I have no idea why I get called for it either...so he put it down that I'm a carer because he has to put something.

Maybe some day someone will know why. Til then, hooray for jabs.

Driving home this afternoon there was the most amazingly beautiful sunset.
The whole sky was shades of red and blues.
We have big skies up here in the Yorkshire Wolds.
It was just awesome
We'll have to come up and experience those beautiful sunsets! (nothing like inviting yourself!)

When I had my Covid and Flu jabs on Monday and I was asked why I was eligible I told the nurse what my long term health condition was as he said that he'd never heard of it and it sounded nasty! Still at least as long as I keep taking the 7 pills a day, I keep healthy and can get out of bed in the mornings and do, eat and drink everything I want to. A lot of people with my condition have trigger foods that they can't eat. The only one I can't deal with is curry but I could never eat that anyway.

The pharmacist was baffled, asking if there was some sort of long term immune issues and I pointed out all I had was psoriasis and various mental health stuff. I don't know if it's maybe a medication combination because every time I ask, even if it's a doctor, the response I get is basically 🤷‍♂️.

The psoriasis on the upper arms is quite bad atm and I did say that's psoriasis and not fungal. Occasionally I'll get a doctor who insists it must be fungal, but it only responds to antifungals when they're used with a steroid, and I didn't want the pharmacist insisting it wasn't safe to inject in those areas.

No serious reaction to the jabs at least. Left arm is still a little sore to the touch but it's barely noticeable. I think that was the flu side. Hooray for an easy time!

We enjoyed swimming at a different waterfall yesterday. We had found it when we climbed upstream from the most popular swimming falls.
This waterfall is a lot bigger and it cascades into a pool that is seemingly bottomless. I finally managed to measure the depth.... 8.5 meters! It's hard to find the exact deepest part of the pool so it may even be deeper! The current where the waterfall plunges into the pool is pretty strong, so we were able to do a bit of freestyle in the natural current. Diving to about 4 meters, you can see the bottom where the rock formation is unique and surprisingly there are no fish. (at least not that we've seen yet)
Here is a picture of the falls -taken by my sister.

This morning, we found that the Olive Backed Sunbird nest that we had been watching for a while had fallen to the ground. It has 2 chicks in it, so we tied it back onto the branch it was on.
Hopefully the chicks make it to adulthood.
