I really dont know what else i can say now. You really need a vet that has experience with guinea pigs. He looks like he has some time left in him to get to a vet
I dont know, i cant diagnose anyway, only a vet can. I'm sorryIs he paralysed?
I agree, you can see hes trying to hide under the hay for safetyMake sure he has a shelter in his pen to be in. So he keeps warm. Keep trying vet please
I'm in the same boat as u my daisy is dying but still holding on I'm sorry can totaly understand u its so hard waiting and watching not wanting to hope yet holding on to that slim chanceHe needs to get to a vet as an emergency.
Sorry to hear about your situation xI'm in the same boat as you my daisy is dying but still holding on I'm sorry can totaly understand you its so hard waiting and watching not wanting to hope yet holding on to that slim chance
ThxsSorry to hear about your situation x
See if he will take some cucumber. Just not too muchHow do i get him to drink? I broke the syringe to be able to feed him?
How is your piggie? Try keeping her warm and I hope she pulls through. Poor wee things can't help themselves and aren't helping themselves by avoiding the nutrition that they need.
I doubt you will ever find out for sure, just put your energy into messi , do get to a vet asap, you might get a free treatment if the same vet is the only option. Is the vet accountable for this or is it just a freak thing? If I took him to the same vet do you think for their own reputation they'd help him out?
Try reading the guides on the forum.Do you think it is possible for me to go to sleep? How long is it safe for it not to drink fluid?
My guinea pig has the exact same symptoms going on right now. He's extremely uncoordinated and keeps his head tilted and is wobbly.Incoordination seems right. he lies his face on the ground and doesn't seem to be using his front legs very well.
it could be a bad reaction to the cream, but if it needs treatment to recover from, only a vet can say, and I would take him as soon as possible to maximize chances of recovery.Incoordination seems right. he lies his face on the ground and doesn't seem to be using his front legs very well.
You need to know what the vet put on him, to know whether he did something he shouldn't have. I suggest that once the immediate crisis is past, you phone the vet and ask what it was.Is the vet accountable for this or is it just a freak thing? If I took him to the same vet do you think for their own reputation they'd help him out?
I'm so sorry for your lossRIP Messi. You were a lovely guinea pig.
Sadly, Messi didn't make it. He was unable to move, eat or drink and started having seizures in his final hours of life. He deserved a better ending.
