Realised I hadn’t put that on so put it on the last post, or that he was stitched open too (but you can sort of see on the pics), it was a long day for my little brain last week! :))
But Simon the vet thought it could have been a lymph node abscess, as it was in his neck/throat area. Here it was, as you can see, it wasn’t bothering him and actually liked it being rubbed and scratched!? 🤷‍♀️:))

Glad it’s gone now though, he’s still loving his chin rubs, just takes two hands either side of the wound! :)):wub:

I was a bit shocked that someone had a very podgy belly from scoffing during the night and ate a bit of breakfast today! So I got to drink tea and wake up a bit before our little fight with the syringe! 🥳:))

I’ll get some pics of his wound later, forgot my phone in the other room earlier, but looking so good! Not sure what to do about more antibiotics, but I’m thinking he might not need them when he runs out in a few days, his tummy would definitely appreciate no more too I’m sure!
 
Thanks @VickiA :) You can definitely tell when the fresh dose of Zithromax has got in that belly though poor lad, starts facing the wall and not looking too impressed bless him! But definitely much better than all week when I got up, nice to see a bit of happy scoffer Luigi! x
 
My boy has been great the last couple of days, still not quite right and a bit dozy, but eating more himself now so not as many big feeds :) He finishes the Zithromax today (🥳) so fingers crossed even more improvement, he bloody hates it too poor chap! I called vets and said I didn’t think he needed more, looking and doing so brilliantly! :D
He got a few SS recovery sachets from his lovely Aunty Andrea @GPTV yesterday and seems to be a fan, even if he refuses to eat it off a spoon or in a bowl!

Has been nibbling at most things I give him now though, not a huge amount, but can’t have the wifey pinching it all! 🐷

Thanks so much lovely Heather @Merab's Slave too, our fibreplex has finally arrived after Pinocchio the postmen said they’d tried to deliver it 3 times last week! :roll: Very much appreciated by me and Luigi’s tum as we’ve now ran out and he’ll be having for a few more days yet with being on the grotty Zithromax!
He’s decided he quite likes it now he’s feeling a bit better too Heather, he’s a special one! 🤷‍♀️:)) x

Haha they actually get on pretty well through the bars when they’ve met (and sure they’d be great as a pair!) but both stuck with a wife in different cages! Sure they’d like the peace with a lovely bloke rather than a hormonal sow sometimes! :))
