Unexpected Luigi op ☹️

After he still kept going ‘spacey’ and off his food despite trying fibreplex, poo soup x 5 and just about everything else, I sort of realised it was the metacam 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ He’d be really perky later on in the evening (when it was obviously wearing off) but have the 0.4 of metacam and start staring at corners again etc and off his food.
So he had his last dose Thursday evening, and he’s been like a different pig since, well Luigi again! :wub: Not had any space outs since, been out happily out zooming at floortime like usual (not hiding like he has been) and we’re now on 3 feeds daily, although I might try 2 today as he’s doing so amazingly! :D Scar looking and feeling great too!
So strange, never known a pig (or any other animal of mine on it) like it with metacam, especially such a low dose! I’m going to start a thread as very interested to know if it’s just him! But he won’t be having it again in the future, despite loving the taste!

So he’s loving his treats now from Aunty @piggieminder which he was turning down, loving his carrot again, drinking from his bottle finally and causing me as much trouble as possible at feeding time trying to jump off my knee at every blinking opportunity! He’s definitely back! 😈👹:love:

That beer belly is definitely getting there! 🐷 Just got to get that voluptuous botty back now! 🍑 Even got his lovely dewlap coming back :D
Him and Lolo have been so sweet, now he’s back to ‘normal’ she’s his best mate and they’ve even been sleeping with/next to each other which has never happened before! She’s missed her happy Gigi! :luv:

I know, so odd which is why I never clicked I think! He’s looking so good now, his weight’s stable and a bit of a cheeky again! :D:wub: Haha not sure about that, maybe a very slow intern of Miss Marple! :)) x

Enjoying a little strawberry last night after his feed (and biting the end of my nose pretending he was going to be nice and groom my face! 🦈🙄😆)

Couldn’t resist getting it on camera (even though I blooming hate pics and videos!), he’s so bloody cute doing it! :luv::luv::luv:
My lovely Jess used to do the same, but stuck her tongue in my actual mouth, why I stick my lips out! :))
Cleo does it occasionally but I really don’t trust her, so have to concentrate and that camera doesn’t get pulled out! XD

Thanks guys, isn’t he blumming adorable!? :wub::love: Been doing it the last few weeks bless him, but he did like the odd peck and nibble at my hands and chin before! :))

Haha didn’t think I would with him to be honest, he’s been very sweet the last few weeks! Still tries to jump off my knee and bite everything again now but being lovely in between! :))

And if anyone’s wondering why he’s chewing on that video it’s because he has a gobful of CC fine grind! I’ve tasted that quite a few times now, prefer it to the regular though! :))
 
I really don’t know what’s going on with this boy atm, he was a cuddler and very sweet when he first came nearly 3 years ago (for a couple of weeks before he met RB Jess and dumped me!) but hasn’t even liked a stroke in the cage let alone being picked up since! (He’s sitting waiting for me to do it now though! 🥳😍)
It’s taking me so long to feed him atm because I have to prise him off my face! :xd: Listen to those sloppy noises! Honestly I’m a wet mess when he’s done! :))🙈
(Ignore my grotty lips, been biting myself up having seizures :mal:)

And he’s such a fan of the Emeraid Sustain he was even having some off the spoon instead of syringing it to him last night! Wish I’d tried it sooner! We will get that lovely bum back Gigi! :D

My new baby will just bite me if I put my face next to her. Not aggressively, of course, she just thinks everything is yummy! (Even my finger that she bit through when I was hand feeding her 😡)

Yes he’s always been a bit of a nibbler, mainly hands as I think the smell of tasty food must be hanging around like with your piggy!
Poor you with the finger though! I have a very bitey pig called Cleo, whose nickname is Jaws 🦈, as she’s such a little monster for getting me too! Breaks the skin and makes me bleed, it blooming hurts! 😣 Looks very sweet and innocent of course, but it’s all a con! (On her nebuliser the other day, she’ll need a new mask soon but it’s better than my flesh!) :))
