Sir George was curled up on my lap and Master Boris was laying on my bosoms, snuggled in my arm. After both of my arms getting a good licking session, one from each pig, Sir George got comfy and dozed off. Then Master Boris gave a massive yawn, flopped his head down and closed his eyes. He did do a poo on me but it was totally worth it.
The Daddy Slave is a bit jealous. I had both boys because Master Boris was playing up with him!

Master Boris snuggled up against him and had a little nap ❤️
Sir George VERY gently used his teeth to move my hand so I would stroke him again!
These creatures never cease to amaze me....
 
The boys just got their regular mani/pedi and check up at the vets. While there I noticed a tiny bit of hay in Sir Georges eye. The vet was called in, she removed it, gave him eye drops and checked for ulceration. Thankfully he must have literally just done it so no damage.
He continues to amaze me with the fact that nothing fazes him. I thought this would but he was his usual calm self. He got an anti inflammatory injection and I was warned that they always squeal/pee/poo....
Not my brave little man, he flinched a bit but otherwise no reaction, bless him he even licked the vet nurse ❤️
So, an expensive nail trim but they got a complimentary pack of piggy nom noms and both the vet and nurse were extremely impressed by him.
 
Sir George seems fully recovered from his ordeal after spending a lot of time resting yesterday.
Today they met hubbies niece and took to her as quickly as they did to her mum. Master Boris was very settled and calm and Sir George licked her before having a good sploot on her lap.
 
Master Boris spent yesterday being a right pain to poor Sir George. He even had a sort of rumblestrut but squealing instead of rumbling?
Sir George is very tolerant but reached the point where he had to make a stand. Lots of noisy chasing and a smelly couple of hours ensued.
They've sorted it all out now and have been closer than usual today.

Well hubby has now witnessed "smiles" from Sir George and no longer tells me I'm being weird, in fact he's utterly delighted to have received one himself as Sir George is a bit of a mummy's boy. I love how they learn from each other because Master Boris is starting to do it too.
Master Boris is now wanting a snuggle and having a sleep at lap time even before pea flakes and yesterday Sir George, who usually likes to just sploot on your lap, climbed up me and wanted a cuddle!
I'm so appreciative of having two piggies who actually enjoy human contact, I didn't expect it.
 
Sister in law came over yesterday, at the sound of her voice I heard excited wheeking from the dining room. As soon as they saw her she was greeted with smiles and popcorns and when I opened the cage Master Boris made a death defying leap of faith to get a cuddle! Thankfully she did catch him but I developed a few more grey hairs!

Are boys just more affectionate than girls? Because Gaia will leap into my arms but I have a feeling she does it to try and evade me and genuinely believes she can jump clear over the top of a human when generally she can't even be pestered to drag her butt up a 2 inch step.
 
I really don't know, he definitely wanted a cuddle though. It's often said that boys mellow with age but mine are both still young, despite Sir George having always acted like a dignified old gentlepig.
They definitely learn from each other as Sir George has decided that he now likes a cuddle instead of just splooting on your lap and he has really upped his game with licking us. Master Boris meanwhile is absolutely enjoying nap time at lap time.
I think maybe Sir George brings out the calm in Master Boris while he in turn encourages Sir George to be more adventurous?
Most likely is that I'm just a VERY lucky slave to serve these particular boys. When I started my piggy journey I hoped it would be like this in a couple of years so every day when it happens again and I start to believe it's not just a one off occurrence I'm just grateful.
We are going on holiday on Friday though, so they probably won't be talking to us when we get back. They sulked for days last year despite having had good care.
 
Both boys worn out after a morning of frolics and popcorns, spring is in the air and bringing out the mad pup in them.
Auntie is coming with us. She's going on a plane for the first time in 17 years! We daren't leave her here to pigsit because I don't think we'd get them back 😂
