Salisbury Meet 27th July 2024

It's the first weekend of the Summer Holidays when we have the Meet. Is anyone able to table bag? Cos the pub is likely to be busy.

We meet at around midday so hopefully we can have some tablebaggers before then. The tables need to be on the ground floor so that anybody with mobility issues can join in the fun too.

So far we have me, @Viennese Furbabies, @Bill & Ted, @teddymouse, @weepweeps hopefully she'll have recovered from Covid by then, @Gem789, @YvonneBlue and @IgglesPiggles.

@GPTV was hoping to get the time off work, @Qualcast&Flymo said she was hoping to be able to come on another thread and @Sparklepetal came last time but we haven't heard if she is able to come this time

I'm still looking at coming, need to check what my OH wants to do and probably find somewhere to stay.

Was going to ask if anyone would like some gooseberry jam, but when we got back from our weekend away last Sunday evening , I discovered the birds had scoffed all the ones I hadn't already picked 😬
 
Oh I wish I could come it would be SO lovely just to sit and talk to more experience piggy owners than me but sadly I can't make it, but I bet you'll have the best time everyone.

That’s happened to us, blackbirds are usually the culprits. It will be lovely to see you. My OH is coming too

No one is taking any piggies! I'll have to put in a piggy alarm! Where is Shy Little Meg in her younger days when I need her? She would sound like she was being murdered whenever the patio door was opened. But after :yikes::yikes:DA BOSS :yikes::yikes:Velvet (her Mum and mentor) was helped over the Rainbow Bridge she never wheeked again.

That's actually sad she never wheeked again after loosing her mum.My late baby pig was very close with her mum too.
