Well I've just got home :)
After I had to suddenly dash off realising the next train was due to leave in 10mins (I'm blaming the lovely company & good laughs for my neglectful time keeping skills! ;) )
I got to the station only to find there were 2 other trains to come & go from my platform before mine even came in, there was an issue & the majority of trains using my line were delayed :(

@Gem789 & @Betsy tell Steven the pub was only fractionally warmer than the platform ;)
I shared my carriage 🚃 with some drunk rowdy's on the way back too! 🍻 :doh:

Hope you found somewhere warm to go before you went back to the hotel?

I've just ramped the heating up... My hands were freezing as I had to de-ice the car when I got back to the station! ❄ ❄ ☃ 🌨 Brrrrr!
Hopefully I'll warm up & get to bed 🛏

The trains were terrible as usual :cen: and the drunk rowdy's were possibly from the football matches that were on today.

@GPTV I got picked up instead as by the time I would have been on the bus, I'd be getting in at 8:30pm :eek:

but Thank you again for a lovely warm welcome to me and my herd, they and myself will be off to bed shortly.

Hope the hotel will be okay if @Gem789 & @Betsy run amok with the wine :beer:

:oops:Maybe stopping for a coffee and hot chocolate wasn't such a good idea after all! Pleased you enjoyed the weekend. It was fun and good to catch up with everyone who made it.
 
By the sounds of it our journey back was very uneventful. We just stopped off at Waitrose to pick up a pie for dinner tonight. That is about as exciting as the journey home was. We don't normally shop in Waitrose as it is far too expensive.
