Salisbury Meet - 21 January 2023

Hi folks,
I'm not sure if this will affect anyone for Salisbury, but it looks like there will be maintenance work on the 21st January.
Some journeys are being diverted, others a bus alternative, possibly some trains not running :(

I noticed this when I was looking at ticket prices on the train line,it won't let me book tickets through them at the moment.I can buy them on trainsplit though.Might just mean I get there later than planned lol.

Looking forward to seeing you again @Gem789 if you get there first could you table bag? Try and get the table we used to have then we'll know where you are! Look forward to meeting you @Crystella. If you have a pet (toy) piggie bring him/her with you. I'll be bringing Doris, Bert and Mavis!

If I get there when I'm supposed to I'll definitely try and grab a table.Do you know what time you'll be arriving?

I'll try and get there about the same time, I'm not sure if driving or by train yet.
Think the train gets in about 11:40ish normally for me.
Are u peeps staying in the pub? Xx

Sorry me dear, I only found out a couple of days ago a friend is making a 10,572 trip and would like to pop in. I can hardly say no :doh: (I leave It to you to work out where the trip is from… :)))
 
It'll be great to see everyone again! And meet new people. You'll know who we are @Crystella as they'll be toy piggies on the table. Also at least 1 of us (me!) will be wearing a piggy top. We aim to arrive between 11.30 and 12.
 
just reminded me to give my three a groom before coming out on Saturday (they get terrible bed head styles)
 
That would be me too @GPTV as I live near Havant for travelling. I've got to get a bus to southampton and then train from there.

I will definitely make the next one you have in Salisbury. My OH says he will look after the piggies so that I can stay overnight.😃 I think he just wants a day watching rubbish telly in his own.😂

I hope you can make it @GPTV and Crystella. The last meet was in Salisbury was almost exactly 3 years ago on 26 January 2019. It'll be good to see everyone again!
 
It says I can cancel my booking for a refund so I'm gonna look to see if there's any other train routes that would get me there.I was really looking forward to this especially after feeling so crap after loosing pickle.
 
Really hope you can make it Gemma I was looking forward to getting drunk in the hotel with you!:beer:
