Hiya !

The date for our next Salisbury Meet is on

Saturday 13th January 2024

The King's Head Inn | Hotel & Pub in Salisbury - J D Wetherspoon

Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend.

This is a Wetherspoons Pub within easy walking distance of Salisbury Railway Station.

f anyone wishes to come to this meet and wants to be met at Salisbury Railway Station, please reply on this thread.
 
I'm working that weekend, I'll see if I can get the time off :tu: :D

Hi everyone! I have just seen this post and might like to come along and meet you all. I am a newbie (to guineas and this site) but have read many of your comments in different threads to others and think it might be fun to put faces to names. I also feel like I half know you already... :yahoo:
I am in Bournemouth so not too far to come.
 
It would be lovely to meet you @IgglesPiggles. I'll be there along with @Merab's Slave so there will be at least 3 of us if you manage to make it too. @Gem789 will be there if she can get the time off work, @Crystella came to the meet in Salisbury last year. @GPTV will be there if she can get the time off work, hopefully @teddymouse will be there too. It's a good laugh and thoroughly enjoyable so do come.


@Bill & Ted you up from Cornwall then?

@Merab's Slave I’m quite shy and also hate driving. Maybe I could get the train. 🤔 I’ll give it some thought. I’d love to meet you all though. It always sounds like such fun. 😍

I would be happy to pick you up and then you wouldn’t be walking in alone.
I think you’re somewhere around Swindon if I remember rightly.
I’m planning on staying with my brother in Royal Wootton Bassett

I'm really shy too and have social anxiety but on my 1st ever meet I travelled all the way to Salisbury which is a long way away from Northamptonshire and everyone I met was so lovely and nice.Even other meets I've been too in Birmingham,new people I met there were so friendly.I'm so glad I forced myself to go to the 1st one.You'd be in good company with me being shy.I do find a nice glass of wine helps calm my nerves when I'm there too 😂.
