Update on Bryce:
Affer the unfortunate mishap that happened on Wednesday night to Bryce (I posted in the rant thread about his legs hurting again because I either squeezed him hard while cuddling him or his legs were in the wrong position before I put him on the floor), he is doing great!
Thursday, he only squeeked of pain in the morning and during the day he was walking around the living room fine and eating hay and grass. We didn't need to give him CC but hubby ordered Emeraid Sustain and I made a syringe for him to try it and flipping heck, he loved it and was asking for it even though he doesn't need it!
Friday, he was even better. His weight on Monday went down to 1247g, but Friday morning, he was 1314g without even us giving him CC and I didn't even stayed up late the night before to hand feed him. I stayed up late to finish a book though.
He also started eating his cucumber and melon without me hand feeding it to him. I had to cut him more for tonight because he finished it and he needs something in case he wants it in the middle of the night. He seems to be getting back to eating his veggies again which he needs for liquid since he doesn't drink water from the bottle. He was also wheeking for grass more this day.
Both him and Whitney are still separated though. Our living room is currently in half with C&C barriers so both have a run in the living room at the same time, which did Bryce good and made him happy. Hubby decided to not bond them yet again until Bryce is fully back to normal and when we can stop monitoring whether he's eating or not. Whitney is a hoover in terms of eating so it was a good thing at the moment that they are separated coz she will surely eat all the food and won't leave anything to Bryce if they are together while he was still unwell.
The Metronidazole seems to be working. I felt his jaw earlier and it seems normal and flat and no bumps. I have to ask hubby to check it in the morning. He didn't have any side effect with it, unlike with Zithromax. Fingers crossed everything is going on the right direction.
With his knees, we would have to see about the pain management for it. Ellie wanted to see whether if we gradually stop the Loxicom if he will start having pains again. So for the time being, we have to gradually put the dosage down. He is currently still in 0.6ml 2x a day. Hubby will start to put it down in the following days.
