Piggies&buns – bunnies!

Back home now.
He said they both look well, anaesthetic has worn off and has given them some more gut stimulant. I’m to continue as I’ve been doing and call again in 24 hours if no improvement.
I feel better now ive had them seen. Hopefully this dose of gut stimulant now they aren’t coming out of anaesthetic will be enough to get them going again
 
I’m glad the vet was happy with them. Hopefully they start munching properly soon. Come on girls.

Both girls are back to being their normal selves now, the second gut stimulant seems to have really helped. Eating well, wounds look good. Stress levels back to normal - mine that is! They’re not happy with having been on cage rest for the last few days, but will be getting a hop around the kitchen this afternoon...let’s hope I can get them back in again!

It's been a stressful few days, thankfully they are out the other side now! They've got a vet appointment on Monday and then I need to see if I can find a warmer day (well, night being the most important bit) to put them back in their hutch. If it stays as cold as it has been the last few days, then they will just be staying indoors for longer!

I've just come up to the study to get a little bit of work done before I give them their time to stretch their legs, but my children just came up and said they are cuddling each other laying in the sun! Cant disturb that yet, as I too would love to be sat in the sun!

New delivery of second cut timothy just arrived. The two girls are normally cross if I disturb their sunbathing (cold but sunny here today) but as I came bearing tasty gifts, they’ve let me off!

My beautiful big softie, 8.5 year old Patch!
He was very active while we were prepping to bring him back in and binkying about! I’ve just this morning made a vet appointment for all three of them to have their vaccinations but mentioned Patch seems a little stiff at times and wanting them to check for signs of arthritis and then he goes and behaves like a youngster! He certainly still loves his lawn time and not just for lazing about in the sun!
