I think you can often tell by theirs eyes if they are in pain, it’s often the first thing I notice. If he is “bright eyed and bushy tailed” then I bet they have kicked in. Hope he feels better now xHiya @VickiA . I crept into their room this morning fearing the worst. But he was sat in the hay tray having a munch. He’s lost 15g so not major and he was begging for his breakfast veggies. His eyes look brighter so I think the pain meds are starting to help.
Yes his eyes were half closed yesterday.I think you can often tell by theirs eyes if they are in pain, it’s often the first thing I notice. If he is “bright eyed and bushy tailed” then I bet they have kicked in. Hope he feels better now x
Sounds like you’ve read the situation perfectly for him. So pleased he’s perked up since the painkillersHiya @VickiA . I crept into their room this morning fearing the worst. It's awful when your piggy isn't ill enough to take to the vet for pts but you dread going into see them in the morning just in case they've had the call from The Rainbow Bridge. We've all been there! Hugs to you at this difficult time.Pepper was completely hidden under the hay this morning. He never sleeps under the hay! He didn’t come out when I called him. I opened the curtains thinking this was it. I went to get their veggies and by the time I came back he was out begging at the bars. This is such a roller coaster of emotions. I feel like I’m just waiting for him to die.
